You know someone has no regard for fact when they toss out remarks about the “soft” defense of the past 5 years, suggesting that the defense (despite being statistically superior in every regard, by large margins) actually also sucked recently under BB, just as much as it currently is sucking under Mayo.

Of course that’s not true, especially when weighing the fact that the offense has been marginally better this season and is turning the ball over less, meaning the D’s job should (at least theoretically) be easier (less time on the field, more rest, fewer short fields).
