I think at least a year for every SB ring they win seems fair.
In the past 6 seasons how many coaches have more playoff wins and appearances than Bill? Obviously Reid and Shanahan but can't be that many more.
That is ridiculous to take into account that someone should keep a job for things they did over 20 years ago. Bill got praised so many times over the years for "a year to early instead of a year too late" and keeping a "what have you done for me lately?" mentality but then when it comes to Bill we should let him keep his job forever as some sort of lifetime achievement award.
I like how you needed to stretch it to 6 seasons to capture the Super Bowl with Brady but since you already mentioned Reid and Shanahan here are the guys with the same, or more postseason wins and appearances as bill from 2018-2023.
John Harbaugh 5 postseason appearances, 2 wins
Mike McCarthy 3 postseason appearances, 1 win
Sean Payton 3 postseason appearances, 2 wins
Sean McVay 4 postseason appearances, 4 wins
Zac Taylor, 2 postseason appearances, 5 wins
Doug Pederson 3 postseason appearances, 2 wins
Sean McDermott 5 postseason appearances, 5 wins
Matt LeFleur 4 postseason appearances, 3 wins
Nick Sirianni 3 postseason appearances, 2 wins
Todd Bowles 2 postseason appearances, 1 win
Kevin Sefanski 2 postseason appearances, 1 win
That is 13 coaches out of 32. That means over 40% of the league have the same or more postseason appearances/ wins as Bill in that span. Two of those coaches, McCarthy and Pederson (bother Super Bowl winning coaches) were fired from a job in are now with a new team. McDermott, and Sirianni are firmly on the hot seat with McCarthy and Pederson right there with them. Taylor, and Sefanski both have pretty warm seats as well.
