from the tweet: "Another blockbuster WR trade"

It's 2024. Getting Amari Copper would have been a blockbuster deal 6-8 years ago. Now, it's kinda meh. He's gone from elite to middling. Not his fault... Father time does nobody a break, except Brady

I sometimes wonder if Brady could still play now.

I was hoping for a split with the Jets and Bills before these moves now I have to temper my expectations. Can somebody wake that Tank master Wolfe up WAKE UP!!!

The Bills will get a comp pick for him as well (if they don't re-sign him).
True, might make it more likely that they don't. Depends on what their inflow/outflow of FAs is. Perhaps NE will be a suitor, he shouldn't be super costly.

Baltimore will run all over KC. They have a bulldozer now, my guess is it will go through KCs defense like Swiss cheese and keep Mahomes and the refs on the sidelines.
I never understood why teams were not willing to pay for Henry. $8MM a year for him is literal robbery.

Teams can be so dumb when they over think things.

This and Adams means we can aquire a very good WR for a reasonable price if we are willing to take some risks.

We better do this for next year.

Good move for buffalo imo. Bills essentially traded a 3rd and diggs(who they pretty much needed to let go) for a first and cooper. I’ll take that all day

Joe Flacco and Andy Dalton are decent starting QB’s Brady on Miami or Tampa is a contender and if SF didn’t **** up back then there front runners

Seinfeld had an episode for everything.

Speaking of Seinfeld, I realized I got old when I started quoting examples of Seinfeld episodes and people (at work) I was talking to had never watched it.
Yea I stopped doing that too.

As bad as Watson has played Cooper's many drops have cost the Browns 2 wins. He is pretty washed. The Browns have paid Coops salary this season as as a restructured bonus so it will cost the Bills only 1 million or so of their little remaining salary cap. This makes the late third round pick more palatable.

Adams is the better WR, but Cooper to the Bills will likely have the bigger impact.
Cooper has had a pretty solid career. He should do well with Allen.

you realize that KC already played Baltimore, right?
With Henry… and won…

I think it’s ridiculous to say that Baltimore just suddenly learned how to use him after week one

Time and time again, the bills are the only team that have proven that they can go toe to toe with Kansas City in the playoffs. Cinci had that one magical year, but that’s it.

it’s always a nailbiter down to the final second.

I don't see Cooper as a guy who makes any team much better, unless he happens to go off and hit a hot streak in the playoffs.

Pats still sitting pat while all the division opponents get stronger. This is why we will amount to nothing as long as Mayo is in charge. It seems no one wants to play for him! Every day I hope he proves me wrong, but it hasn’t happened so far !

Hold your horses. Adams doesn't fit this timeline and is starting to have injury questions. Cooper has been meh.

There might be a WR that pops free here soon that does fit. I have to take a look at whom that may be but there might be a couple.

People really gonna now act like the team didn't offer Ayiuk top 5 WR money and had a deal worked out with 49ers to get him this summer?

It would be very stupid for a team that isn't contending this year to trade a 3rd round pick for a guy that will be a free agent after this season. Not spending a 3rd rd pick on Amari Cooper isn't the hill to die on about this subject.

^This! If the Pats had traded their high 3rd for a player who is going to walk the same people decrying them for not doing it would be marching to Foxborough with their torches and pitchforks when he departed at season's end.

It's a decent deal for Buffalo, a team in win now mode with a glaring need gets an affordable impact WR on a short money contract for a late 3rd. It's a good landing spot for Cooper to show that he's still got something in the tank in a contract year.
