The media cares about access and being friendly with the coaches and if you're nice to them you'll get good coverage from them for as long as they can give you it, the Krafts and the coaches will get the benefit of the doubt until it's impossible for the media to defend it any longer.

This roster is completely bare of upper echelon NFL talent. Years upon years of lacklustre drafts is killing us. Our o-line has been a **** show for years. Our WR core has been garbage for years. BB drove this roster into the ground, and I’m not convinced at all Wolfe and company are the right ones to rebuild it.

While i question some of the amateurish decisions today, the guy had a **** roster to begin with and lost a number of key players on offense and defense.

I just feel he’s acting like a coach who has a long time to rebuild this thing and has no fear of needing wins or to stay competitive so he’s comfortable letting Maye on the bench all year not moving Mike to guard or getting a player like Javon Baker and Thornton plays to take the top off defenses.
Also look at Rhamondre does he ever see the field if he fumbles twice let alone 4 times in one month under Bill.

If Mayo is going to have a future in the NFL, he needs to be able to lead through adversity. The most important thing is that the team puts out a good effort under all circumstances. By that measure today was an ok day. Improving game time decisions will take experience.

Take the top off the defence?

1) when has T. Thornton proven anything in this league? How many games/months/years do we need to realize he’s another Bill bust at WR?

2) deep routes take time. Our line doesn’t give the time those routes need.

Until the line gets fixed nothing changes.

This group is *exactly* who the Boston Sports Media wanted. They wanted anyone but Belichick, because he wasn't nice to them, for decades. They're getting exactly what they wanted. Anyone (like Tom Curran today) doing performative ********, when they were *complicit* in this, is the highest of hypocrisy.

Next years cap space is about $136 million, hopefully they spend this wisely, address some of the many needs of this team and draft well.

They chose to buy low on the OLine. They made very little effort at all. But when they did, they decided they would shop the garage heap. Impressive. Nothing difficult about that.
