Barmore was signed way too early and now who knows what happens going forward.

Dugger is very overpaid.

Peppers is fine.

Owenu was another overpay has been horrible.

I think alot of time becuase we saw it work one way for so long becuase of something we don't have "now" at the QB position stability... right now that we can think this guy wasn't worth, or that guys not worth it.


FA wasn't desirable this year. So the team identified core players and extended them. I see that as great thing. Players put thier bodies though so much to keep us entertained.

Ownenu is being bounced back from T to G each week and the tackles are a joke. He is overcompensating for poor line play. Barmore will recover and be back Andrews went through the same thing. As he's been reported to be around the locker room and facilities involved just not on the field obviously. Peppers and Dugger will now have to play more around the LOS with Bentley out. Peppers will have to give help to Marcus and Jon as they have struggled in coverage as they aren't outside CBs they are slot guys.

It's actually both that's kind of how the collaboration is set up. Wolfe has say on the roster, Mayo has say on the coaching decisions, and it's ultimately a Collaboration with several people involved.

We can't force guys to sign here. We have no attraction here. Drake is the only attraction and if he had a chance to show his talents we would be better off. You and I agree that Drake should be playing.

But until he plays and shows his abilities we will not be a destination. That is why as fan I want so badly for us to look like a team on the come up this season. What the poster is saying basically is we Saw a bright light with Mac after cam, 7-9 , 10-7 made the playoffs, then we've missed the playoffs.. it's a reason why we are where we are now it wasn't a overnight process.

Losing teams sign free agents all the time. It’s complete BS that players wouldn’t come here. We barely tried. Almost everyone we negotiated with signed. Is it not the organizations JOB to show players why they should come here and convince them to?

Dugger and onwenu are on 2 year contracts. So they can get away next year if need be.

If robinson develops as RG, onwenu could be expendable next year and a trade candidate if this season is so so .

The good news is that left tackles are starting to emerge at the top of the 25’ Draft. So if they do end up with a top 5 pick there will at least be 2 top rated LT’s they will have a shot at. Kelvin Banks/ Texas, and Will Campbell LSU. There will be some great wideouts available, and it will be hard to pass on Travis Hunter, but for the 2nd year in a row dire need will surpass best player available for their first pick. Fortunately they have the $$$ to address WR and OL, as well as defense in free agency, as well as the rest of the draft.

They really need to turn Scar into a virtual reality OLine coach before he transitions to the Great Beyond.

I'm looking at it realistically.. who's coming here right now? We are the dam near bottom ranked offense.. 31st.. Brissett is Bailey Jones minus the INTS. Things will not change until we get our franchise QB under center and he can have more than mop up duties to move the offense.

Absolutely... some can blame wolf.. but he can't force guys to sign here. The QB makes all the difference.. Brissett is a AVP guy.. that is why he's here. I understand the struggles on the line.. but even when he's had time he's flat out missing guys. There is no attraction.. Drake maye I'll continue to say is our only hope. Once he starts and can get into a groove as the starter we will see the offense flourish.
