Question about how to access digital tickets

In the past few years I've used the Patriots app to view my tickets. Normally when I view my tickets there is a scannable QR code. This year however when I open my Patriots app and then push "View Ticket" (to view my Oct 6th Pats Dolphins game) instead of being presented with the QR code I see a message that states, "Add to Wallet to enter the event." and then underneath that there is a button labeled "Add to Google Wallet". My question is do I really need to set up and use Google Wallet to see the QR code or will a QR code generate later on closer to the date of the game?

I've never seen Google Wallet be optional for a customer once a ticket supplier chooses it as a delivery method.

Use the Gillette Stadium app. That's what I do.

Thank you. I was using the Patriots app so I installed the Gillette Stadium app but I ran into the same exact issue. What I'm not sure is if what I am seeing is normal and that a QR code will eventually generate and display as we get closer to game day. I'm only going to one game this year so I don't have any digital tickets from earlier this season to compare. If anyone else is going to the Dolphins game on the 6th can you confirm if you can see the QR code when you use the Patriots or Gillette Stadium app? This is currently what I am seeing in both (and for the record yes I had to take an actual picture of my phone because the apps blocked me from taking a screenshot):

Yes, that is exactly what I see in the app. The barcode displays in the Apple Wallet and you will be good to go.

Hmm I don't have an iPhone; I have an android. So it sounds like instead of setting up Google Wallet you set up Apple Wallet instead?

The scannable QR code will not appear until you get close to the stadium “just outside the stadium” Them the QR code that moves appears

Same thing for Patriots parking
I had to have the parking attendant get it to load.

I hate progress !
