Pats not as bad as against Jets not as good as against bengals. They will lose but cover

The JETS showed the NFL how to defend the Pats. Week 1, when there was no tape, is immaterial at this point. Don't forget how Mac Jones collapsed at the end of his rookie season because every team similarly adjusted their defense. Mac could not adjust. Same thing here. Can the OL and Brissett adjust to the JETS blueprint? Not a chance.

This is the one game o our schedule that I penned as a definite loss and nothing has led me to believe otherwise. I just hope it isn't over in the 1st quarter , I just want a competitive game !

Got the 49ers just where we want em... right after a terrible loss by them.

Not sure if anyone caught this, but apparently Skylar Thompson got hurt in the Miami game and has a chest injury. So they’re now down to 3rd stringer Tim Boyle at QB most likely for the week 5 game in Gillette.

I can't understand why Miami has not already traded for Mac Jones.

would you fellas be happy if maye is like purdy in 3-4 years?

I think Maye has more upside. I think Maye processes as well as Purdy and is much more athletic. The key is how well Maye processes, I am not able to reliably judge that.
Yeah this is where I am at. Based on what I have seen, Maye SHOULD be processing about as well as Purdy, and is a far better athlete. But the emphasis is on “SHOULD” because it’s all theoretical until he goes out and does it.

My hopeful expectation is that he will look similar to Purdy passing, but with a better arm, and then can also scramble for yardage, create on a broken play, or just execute a designed run to pick up chunk yardage. So, yeah, better.

Nah there’s no blueprint everyone already knows what Brissett can and can’t do he’s been in the league long enough. The Jets D front is also a bad matchup for most teams.

Also nobody “adjusted” to Jones. He hit the rookie wall in 21 but his second half of the season wasn’t as bad as people say it was. After that BB’s ridiculous coaching hires made sure he never got to that level again.

49ers defense is overpaid. I like Bosa and Warner, but they show up when they feel like it which is something champions don't do. The losses of Buckner and Armstead are starting to wear on Bosa.

Aiyuk has done the Pats a solid as he looks horrible so far. I have a question for the posters that wanted this trade: would you like a mulligan on that?

49ers offensive line is atrocious and will hold them back from winning a Super Bowl. It's amazing how none of the analysts see this.

Samuel and Kittle already taking games off will back fire late in the season.

They adjusted to him. Number 1, he was jittery in the pocket, so they knew he was gutless. Number 2, the flooded the middle of the field because he wouldn't throw an out. The guy is really a bad QB, and it's easy to adjust to him.

Last 6 games he threw for 8 TDs and 7 INTs. That includes the 50-10 win over Jax where he threw 3 TDs and 0 INTs.

These #s in the final 3rd of 2021 were very very similar to what he did the next 2 years.
