How negative would it be to bring in Milton without Jacoby and Maye being injured?

Hell, work up plays for both of them to keep SF off balance.

I don't think that Milton should even be on the roster.

That being said, I agree with you. If we have Milton, he should be active. He may be useful for maybe 0-4 plays a game. That's fine.

If the trade’s for an average+ LT with a non-expiring contract, I would have to consider it… But those trades simply haven’t happened to my knowledge, and I doubt it will happen this year either

Realisitically we are about 4 positions away from competing as an offense.
Both Tackles 2 impact WRs.

Trade for Cooper, get Bourne back, put no separation on the bench to learn the game like they want Maye too.

Get Strange back put him at LT, RT for Lowe,
Put Mike O back at Guard.

That will go a long way to fix things.

We were the 3rd worse in the NFL last year. Last year I don't remember looking as bad as we did in the JETS game. Being in a rebuild is no excuse for going backwards. Hope is not a football strategy.

No need to worry about he adverse effects of the shortened pre-season. The Pats' preseason is gonna last all year. Truth be told, that might be just what is needed. We ain't ready for the "real games."

I am not optimistic about Wolf. His FA was a joke. His OL rebuild is a disaster. His comments about the OL and Okorafor and Wallace playing LT were dumb.

If I listen to Maye I think "this guy gets it". When I listen to Wolf I think "this guy is an idiot".

Yes! Maye feels like the "guy"... I've said that he's the #2 becuase he showed growth since he was drafted. Yeah wolf... he knew the line was a problem. Wallace and Robinson can become solid players. Lowe I'm not so sure.

Wallace and Robinson can become solid players.

We don't need solid guys. We need 8 core All Pro types. Maye, Barmore, White, Gonzo, and????? Strange has the athleticism to continue to grow but you can't count him. When the team is picking at #3, only Maye as a core guy is a fail.
