The lines right now seem to have Pats as 9.5 - 12 point underdogs in this one. Guessing it will go up as an overreaction to last night.

Our first look at Purdy. No C-Mac, Bosa banged up and there are questions about Deebo's availability right now but I guess we'll learn more Sunday.

Not expecting a W but expecting a better performance than last night. Shouldn't be too much to ask.
Is Maye Starting?? I am sure Mayo haven't made a decision about who's the Starter.

This is going to hurt. SF is very physical. At least we get another shot at figuring out the OL.

We certainly moved closer to seeing Maye. But I don't want him to start in SF, and neither will the staff (and owner).
JB will get pummeled. Maye may play the 2nd half just due to attrition, but don't start him.

The coaches should be digging in on the OL rotation this week. And if they have any brains between them, they'll move some guys around.
Jacobs(Lowe) - Jordan(Sow) - Andrews - Onwenu - Wallace

Better yet, make a trade for a legit OL or 2!!

I hope the next 9 days actually help out the team and the o-line health wise. If Lowe and Sow can come back that helps things a bit. I really like Sow, liked him last year. Kick Wallace to RT, move Onwenu back inside and you might have something.

Won't change the outcome which will be another Pats loss, but it will maybe be the start of a functional offensive line.

We need a QB who can throw the football that ain't Brissett. We should sign Zappe off KC's PS anyone but Brissett.

I'm fine with Lowe, Wallace and Jacobs as our OT's.

so, we will have 1 C, 6 OG's and 3 OT's on our 53-man roster?
===========
I suspect that would be adding another OT and dropping a guard.

Hopefully, we will add backup center and drop yet another guard.

This all sounds fine from the peanut gallery.

I agree. My only concern with moving Onwenu back to guard is that they become very thin at tackle. They’d only have Jacobs as a backup on the 53, and Jones on the PS. Thomas could probably play tackle if needed in an emergency.

I think at this point the team has no choice but to play guys like jacobs if lowe isn’t healthy and wallace at rt, sink or swim. It can’t possibly get worse than Thursday night.

If strange does come back , which im guessing would be about 4 weeks away at best, we should hopefully know enough about wallace (as most of us hope at rt) to see if we can keep mike inside or kick him back out with strange and sow at guard. Who knows maybe onwenu is a better tackle when he has a competent pass blocker next to him. That seemed to be the case in 20 and 23

I agree.

Yes, Lowe needs to be healthy before moving Onwenu to RG.

We would then have
LT: Lowe, Jacobs
RT: Wallace, Thomas

I would probably also elevate Jones since we need to have 2 LT's in case Lowe is injured again (and again).

I really want to see how the defense responds here. They showed poor tackling and questionable scheming. If the strength of our team isn’t a strength anymore, then we have bigger questions than who our backup offensive linemen are.

Hope they don’t make a trade for a LT.

They will definitely overpay and the Pats picks are going to be gold,

And very high.
