Gonzo is the best match up for Higgins.. I believe gonzo is closer to 6'2.. but.. it's a challenge for sure.. I believe you have to take chase away and be physical with Higgins as much as I love Higgins the formula on him has Been be super physical with him and you take him off his game. Chase and Higgins are the alphas , automatic TDs. Limit them and live with the other guys. On offense I think what's more important. Take the ball out Brissett hands.. run at Hendrickson.... and attack the Cincy run defense. Try and keep 3rd and manageable. Utilize pop Douglas quickness and Henry in the red zone. Sustainable drives keeps Burrow on the sidelines.
Good plan.

If super physical is what rocks Higgins, then double him with Peppers as the safety help and let him dismantle Higgins with a big hit. It sure as **** blasted DeVante into considering retirement

I'm sure it'll be as you described, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Gonzo 1v1 Chase at times. Or I guess I hope to see that.

Well that was a huge hit last season! Lol... Hawkins will likely be the 3rd safety.. I'd say let peppers and dugger be free to roam and around the LOS to take care of the TEs.. gonze should be able to handle tee 1 on 1.. your right in sure he will move around a bit.. I know Burrow will make his plays but just don't make it easy for him. I believe this game is more pressure on the offense. They need to show something. Getting 4,5 yards on first down is vital.

Double Chase, although it might be good to see how effective he can be with his training camp absence.

And then I just remembered that the Bengals grabbed 2 of my WR Beankies from that draft... Iosivas and CJones. If Chase sits out, Iosivas, who's less than half an inch shorter than Higgins, could have a huge day. 4TDs on 25 targets last year. He's probably their fastest (top speed) receiver.

As an aside . . . was listening to SiriusXM yesterday morning, and they were talking about Pats-Bengals.

Obviously, the hosts were talking about how Brissett won over Maye to start the season. But they mused about whether or not Maye might see playing time in this game if Brissett started out like he did in the preseason (I believe they suggested something like "if they only have 100 total yards in the first half").
If they had a leash for Brissett that short, they'd have just given Maye the job. Brissett will be given at least a few games. Besides, the reason for starting Brissett has a lot less to do with him being better than Maye and a lot more to do with giving Maye the chance to see how actual real game-planning works and what a real NFL defense looks like versus his offense on film for a few weeks, take some mental reps, and watch Brissett's game day prep so he knows everything he needs to do.

If this is sarcasm that I missed, please correct me. But 1) Strength of Schedule is based on previous year's record, and nothing else. 2) That schedule is a formula based on rotating which divisions play each other, so no one can change it. And 3) I think I read the Patriots actually have one of the best schedules in the NFL when it comes to net days rest comparted to opponents. So if that was actually a thing Kraft could buy, seems like he ponied up.

EDIT: I just noticed the graph was based on Vegas odds, so scratch point 1. But the other two still stand, as the schedule is determined via formula and the rest days are actually in the Pats favor this year.
The graph seems really pointless to me if it's based off of win/loss projections for games that haven't even happened yet. It's basically saying "If Vegas is right about who wins and loses every game all season, here is what each team's strength of schedule will end up looking like by the end of the year." But it doesn't actually... mean anything... because it's all just projections. If you were to base it off of wins/losses from 2023 I'd guess it would be different.

Not like we really did but NOW we have No chance.

say we are down 24- 7 in the 4th.. does Mayo pull him? To let Drake get mop up duty?
Depends...does the Cinci DC play vanilla cover-2 when up big? Or does he keep the pressure on, mix coverages, play to blow out rather than trade clock?

Bengals got Trent Brown for basically nothing
If he's motivated? Sure. If not - you get the "False start, offense...holding, offense..." etc Trent Brown.

Do I think he'll be motivated? I dunno - what's his playing weight right now (a big indicator as to his motivation level)?

Trent Mount Brown is the definition of Big have you seen Onwenu lately?? Very Fat Guard for a athletic scheme. I am still scratching my head regarding our scheme and type of players we have square peg round hole.

Amarillo is known as an aggressive DC. We pose no threat to them on offense. So I can see him putting in back ups and play zone.

Looks like chase will be playing he was at practice today.

Only way to beat Cincy is Burrow on sideline. INTs or fumble recovery. AVP need to take the ball out of Brissett arm and give the rock to rham and gibby.

Will he be motivated playing against the team that screwed him out of millions? I dunno.

A few games for a starting QB who was named captain I'd say is short leash. Brissett starting I really believe has more to do with the dissaray on the line than anything. Mayo probably wants to see how they perform if anything before letting the future of the franchise take a snap. Personally I think if it gets 2023 wretched on offense the first 4 weeks I can see a change at QB.
