The Bill Boyz are just as Bad as the Brady Boyz were

Only a really cheap guy does that. But his son is taking over so hopefully that will change too.
Talk to a Revolution fan before pumping Jon Jon's tires too much

This is what fan bases like the Jete do…they complain constantly about their NFL lot in life. It’s normal to debate and complain but for hours every day ? You’re not going to change a single thing *****ing non-stop on a message board. We are better than the Jete.

Your a funny guy. You've complained about everything not aligned with your views. But I like you though! LOL.

Yes I challenge views that do not align with mine. But I do not complain about posters. You are complaining about posters. There is a difference.

I like you more than you like me.

Laughable the mope squad claims it has nothing to do with Bill after 25 years of defending every single move "the team" made then magically this offseason turned into the biggest pessimists the board has seen.

But now that Bill is gone suddenly its okay to slam the roster and the front office every chance they get and act like this all happened overnight .
Is this you the past few years.......
Where were all these critical posts the last few years when the roster was getting to this point? Thats where you can easily see who’s giving the constructive criticism and who has an axe to grind.
I think we just hit the 7 year anniversary of UNIVERSALLY condemning the WR corps
Probably a 1000 threads on the topic (Most started by Mgteich who treats this board as his Comfort Puppy )

OT has been a shambles for several years and duly noted ad nauseum
Th O Line was lambasted for 3 years as the greatest single reason Mac10 failed here (besides his lack of even 1 tool necessary to elevate an NFL offense)
Refer to the thousands of posts on the subject.

The coaching the past several seasons......
People will write books on the malfeasance and likely use quotes from this board. Years of material to choose from
etc
etc
etc

PS..........Ever drop in on the game day thread?

If the team was bad and didn’t get better that’s not a “negative vibe” that’s assessing reality. I’ve been the most positive fan in this board for years because there was reason to be
So you’re saying the team “was bad” and the QB singlehandedly prevented them from a 10 win season. Both can’t be true.

You were still a pom pom waiver last season as the wheels were falling off. Something changed in January. I wonder what that was....

Maybe you missed it but there were people arguing last year that the team was just a decent qb away and Mac was the sole problem. Only now they are willing to crap on the roster because Bill is gone.

This could be the most frustrating part. I real honest analysis of last years actually games, as they were played says we won 6 more games with mediocre, less than awful QB play . A flawed team had enough strength to win 10 games if its largest flaw was only bad not awful.
You can pick apart those games and say beating the giants and devito doesn’t make you a good team for instance, but it still would have been 10 wins. Now, would that team win 10 against this years schedule, not a chance.
But you had the makings of a contender and a boatload of resources at your disposal. ADD TO and already good defense (instead we subtracted) get the QB right, get him some protection and although a better qb makes better receivers, built that out too.
Fix the problems. We didn’t do that and frankly took a half assed approach to it only adding cheap JAGs and not spending to the cap.
What we should have done was strengthen the strengths and shore up the weaknesses at least making them adequate. That’s a huge step in the right direction. Instead it just seems like we took a mulligan year and we will see if it’s worth trying next year.

The roster was in really bad shape last year, theres no way to deny that. This year we drafted a qb who so far looks the part, got some wr reinforcements so the team isn’t completely drained in the event bourne or pop go down, locked up many of our key young pieces the next 3-4 years and added some prospects on the OL who are TBD. Next hopefully we can focus on completing the OL where it still needs help and address edge with judon’s departure. Cb will likely need addressed too with some guys hitting fa next year.

Bottom line this is going to take time and the new regime deserves a chance considering the situation they inherited . Yes theyre going to make mistakes. Yes they may have already made mistakes, i certainly don’t agree with some of the moves / lack of moves. But i give it time, it takes 2-3 years to really evaluate a rebuild and the approach.

I was posting years ago about the sub par drafting and how it will catch up to us and the shrieking homer patrol clutched their pearls. I was told that Duke Dawson wasn't a bad pick because someone was willing to trade for him (seriously). I was told over and over that Sony Michel was better than an average running back. I was told multiple times that Isaiah Wynn was a good tackle. Even as recently as last year I was told that there is no way that Juju wasn't an upgrade over Meyers.

The most ridiculous statements were made by this crowd for years and now the same crowd is lamenting that another team took a look at a 34 year old DT we let walk. The same crowd that thought Bill should have infinite runway for a rebuild doesn't want to give the new regime a single regular season game. The former homer, now mope squad, won't admit it but we all know why. Whether they like it or not this is year one of the rebuild. Rome wasn't built in a day (not even with 70 free agents. 70!) and this team will likely not be competing for the next year or two.

The run defense scares me. If that is bad, all the dominos fall
Me too.

I really don't understand why (unless he doesn't want to) they won't bring back Guy on a 1yr deal- especially with Barmore out.

I agree. If Bill did not get rid of Brady and then go on to suck for years so bad that he got fired, we would all still be a very happy board holding han... ah wrong thread?

Nobody mentions or cares about Bill, except when posters here blame the past rather than the GM making the actual decisions this season.

Decisions have consequences. If Chuks and Lowe suck balls this season it’s not BB’s fault, it’s the current administrations… give us a fcking break.

Kind of hard not to blame the past regime to some extent when the cupboard was left bare at many spots. With that being said this group managed to do about as bad a job at tackle as Bill did last year.

Yeah, bare… which is why they re-signed every priority free agent they had. Why they returned the entire defense with the 4th lowest scoring percentage in the NFL. They had no talent… laughable.

You BB haters will milk this BS for years, a decade from now with this team being a cellar dweller you’ll still be telling us it’s Bill’s fault.

Not fixing the offensive line was a choice, they had all the resources in the world. If the line sucks their choices this off-season will be the reason why…not the ghost of BB.

Nah we’ll blame Mac Jones he’s like the worst ever!!11!! All his fault.
