Pittsburgh isn't willing to give up the players San Fran has asked for (reportedly Pickens and Freiermuth) so it's possible maybe they trade for another player and include him in the deal? I haven't read the article yet because I'm grabbing Tweets in the camp thread, but I'm thinking maybe that's what's being referred to.
right, niners get a pick back for Aiyuk and then use it to trade for a WR from another team at the same time

The JJ McCarthy injury is a major reason why the overall product of the NFL is getting worse every year. Fans don't want to see this ****.

Sucks but he'll be back, he looked the best of all the rookies that played extensively in pre-season, hope he recovers enough to get some games in this year, guy is going to be fun to watch during his career.

Painful injury but think they’re rehab able so he should be back this year. It’s not an acl tear which is no bueno.

Actually, I believe that knowing who exactly recommended Suck-Suck over Meyers is very, if not extremely, important.
Actions have consequences. Or they should.

Letting go of Jacoby Meyers and bringing in a supposedly better YAC guy in JuJu Smith-Schuster turned out to be a boneheaded move.

Well, now we have confirmation that a meniscus can be season ending. Some people have struggled to believe that with Jake Andrews.

Tough break for the kid. Between the scheme and the guys around him, McCarthy had a chance to be the most productive rookie QB this season.

J.J. McCarthy is out for the season.

Players get injured during pre-, regular- and post-season every year. **** happens.

Saints drafted Taliese Fuaga, the roadgrader RT from Oregon State. They’ve put him at LT. He was my OT2 in the draft, and he played flawlessly in their first preseason game. Coaches are very high on him.

Their former LT Trevor Penning, another first-rounder, was moved to RT. He is looking bad. Very bad.
