The deal with Cleveland appears to include Amari Cooper. If the Patriots have to give them their 1st then **** that.

Aiyuk is lightyears better than Hopkins at this point in their careers. To say otherwise is laughable.

This is where I am at. A first, from this team, is going to be too steep since it will likely be a top 10 pick. A second and Bourne is fine with me.

Aiyuk likely benefitted from playing on a team with a tremendous number of weapons on O. Will he produce as the main target ?

Having said that - the young WRs in Foxborough would likely greatly benefit from being on the field at the same time as Aiyuk.

I am on the side of trading for AIyuk but SF's offense is miles better than ours.

Aiyuk still isn't some dominant WR who keeps defensive coordinators up at night, nor do they game plan around Aiyuk or roll coverage in his direction. He simply isn't.

The 49ers used a 1st on Rickie Pearsall, who is a really good prospect.

I agree. I think it is stupid to give up a 2nd when we are in rebuild mode. We need All Pros on rookie contracts.

Having said that, I saw that Bourne would be going back to SF as part of the trade, so maybe it is a 3rd or 4th with Bourne instead of a 2nd. A 2nd is NUTS in my opinion, but PatsFans always wants to overpay.

They’re a legit starting LT away from being a solid team. People keep talking rebuild, what more do they need to rebuild besides the tackle position.

They’re probably picking top 10 next year, boom problem solved.
