That non-answer sounds like you don't like the right answer. That's understandable because they have sucked ass without a WR1 and with inferior QB's to Brady. The good thing is Pats have a way better QB room now and a head coach who probably won't botch his development by putting ego and hubris before football team.

A top WR1 can and has elevated their QB. Alex Smith's beatdowns of BB's defenses here says hello. He had Hill and Hunt.

Stay on topic please. Alex Smith embarrassed BB's defenses not once but twice - and why? Weapons. WIthout an all world QB and the Pats haven't had one since Brady left - you need them. BB didn't acknowledge or respect that hopefully Wolf will.

I’m psyched for Mac, knowing he’ll be good now that BB isn’t holding him back is good to know.
