We could have drafted a LT who might have started in 2025

-we do not know how the Pats had those OT's mentioned ranked. perhaps they had Wallace higher than Paul, Rosengarten, Sumataio, etc.
-seems to me Paul would not be a good fit given the run offense/block scheme the team supposedly wants to use
-having WR's that can get open off the LOS allowing the ball to come out quick is an OL saver. perhaps Polk and Baker, are that type WR

regardless, the OT positions will be better than last seasons uninterested Brown and over matched Lowe.
Right now we only have one question on Offense that's the LT position: which Guy can hold his own at the position?? We should be good from RT to LG even minus Cole Strange. Hey I'm hoping C Wallace can be that swing Tackle he couldn't play LT in College because of the other guy *First Rounder*: Wallace maybe better than regarded. IF Chukwuma Okorafor can't hack it @ LT he's our Big RT him and Onwenu is a lot of beef on the right side. Our Protections on Offense should be geared to help our LT not every Team have a Hofer there.

I find it amusing you believe draft position and talent are the same thing. Isaiah Pacheco was taken in the 7th round and ran the Chiefs to a championship…. draft position is irrelevant and the second round is one round removed from the first.

Patrick Paul went to the Senior Bowl and proved he belonged, not so different from other small school lineman like Logan Mankins. When Bill took Mankins Mel Kiper called it a massive reach… media draft experts are largely idiots and their rankings worthless.
And the HOF is chock full of late round picks.

It's all about how they play when they get the chance.

If Onwenu kicks inside to right guard, they have both tackle positions as question marks….

I swear this will be the last time I post this: we could have drafted Darrisaw instead of Mac in 2021

RT is not Rocket science position you can get away with a re-thread there it's the strong side.

What facts and statistics… you talking fantasy football?

Football is won in the trenches.
I've posted the info multiple times on what makes a good offense, nothing to do with fantasy football.
We know the top offenses win by throwing to open guys.
The data goes on and on that the NFL football on offense is won by the best QB, the best schemes to get guys open and the best receivers.
Since you just had a team with 2 of the worst tackles in the NFL win a Super Bowl not sure how important 1 left tackle is?
Mahomes as the QB, Reid scheming to get guys open, that's all they needed.
Chiefs traded up for a WR and skipped the tackle in the first, because they get it, they've analyzed the same data.

Give me a break, two bad tackles will severely limit how good the team can be.

Not saying they will be bad, but Wallace is a rookie and no sure thing.

You make an excellent point I was looking at the Chiefs Roster and boy they look like they can Threepeat. After Drafting R Rice who played well as a Rookie they took X Worthy and have Hollywood Brown on their roster a lot of fire power @ WR for Mahomes who doesn't need much.

The Chiefs have had one of the most expensive offensive lines in the NFL for the last five years... you're getting bad information.

Randy Moss, Devante Adam’s, Deandre Hopkins, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones and Stefon Diggs have zero rings. The Chiefs traded Tyreek and won two more rings.

Football is won in the trenches and at QB. All of the Patriots small slot receivers have about two handfuls of rings between them. You're getting bad information.

Like V Lowe I agree but if our other Potential RT plays like Onwenu did there we'll be ok.

Which is why I called it a big question mark should they move Onwenu inside.

Marshall Newhouse got Brady injured in 2019 and effectively ended that season. I don't want to hear how weapons are more important than line play... it's a terrible take... ask Joe Burrow and his super weapons. If that guy had a good line he would have won back to back championships because that Bengal's team had everything else needed.

They could win another this year they look stacked @ WR. Dam Mahomes have Three Rings before he's 30.

That offensive line and power running by Isaiah Pacheco was a big reason why last season. The run game and defense largely carried them.

With them Drafting a WR ever year it seems like they are preparing for life after Travis Kelce. Gotta keep Kermit happy.

You think the tackles on KC were good? You can't be serious.
You think Moss played his whole career in NE he would not have won a Super Bowl?

What data backs up the modern NFL is won in the trenches? The top running teams have no correlation to winning but top passing teams do, so what actual evidence points to games won in the trenches? Best passing trams win, best teams at stopping the pass win, stopping the run, running the ball, don't correlate to winning. So, where's the evidence?

We're not talking about the 3 internal linemen KC had, as we are not talking about anything on the Pats except the tackles as we were talking about taking a similarly rated TACKLE over a similarly rated WR.

Reid was smart bringing in undervalued Marquise Brown and developing from within.

????? They were 13th in yards per carry, 19th in rushing yards and 26th in rushing touchdowns

This conversation is going nowhere, the facts have spoken and believing something else because you want to isn't worth arguing against.

Yeah. QB as a position is overrated.

"Good" is relative, the Chiefs tackles make the Carolina Panthers look like peewee league players. Jawaan Taylor and Donovan Smith were great cheaper options than signing their own expensive free agents like Orlando Brown... these were not bad players, just not the ones they had before.

Football is won in the trenches is as old as time. Tom Brady and Mahomes are the best QB's in the modern age, both looked mortal and ran for their lives behind bad offensive lines. This isn't a debate. Jim Harbaugh just gave a masterclass on the line at the draft months ago before taking an offensive tackle with the 5th overall pick, and he knows what he's talking about.
