That makes no sense. Milton's freakish ability is being able to launch the ball 85 yards. Cunningham has elite quickness and speed which could, potentially make him a weapon as a WR.

There's a reason why the Ravens are converting him now. Based on reports from Baltimore they aren't impressed with him as QB. So I don't think the Pats are missing a whole lot there. Which begs the question why they re-signed him in the first place.

I always though that they should have tried to make him a much faster and more athletic Edelman. I didn't see him as a QB, even a backup one.

Jokes are only funny when there’s truth involved. From what I remember not a single person here promised Zappe would be great, they were just begging for Mac to be benched and his reign as starter to end.

Anyone who thought Cunningham was anything but a WR prospect was fooling themselves. The Pats signed him to play WR.

Unfortunately for Cunningham he’s on a team now that doesn’t often or well.

Whenever we start pining for BB to return we need to remember this. He was 100% responsible for ruining the most important position on his football team, and that's why he lost his job.
Who knows if Maye will succeed, but signing Brissett is the safest bet to shield a rookie from certain doom.
