It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The Pats drafted Bailey Zappe in the 4th round.Joe Milton have a Rocket for an Arm a far cry form noodle arm Mac Jones. People slept on him this Draft he has all the tools given the time to develop I think Wolf stole one here in Joe Milton.
I disagree.
Joe Milton has the physical talent of a 1st round pick with great size and speed and a bazooka arm.
The upside is enormous.
At QB, and potentially as a wildcard for gadget plays.
Who would have been better?
yup; we'd be lucky to have drafted Penix, after a trade up.The Pats drafted Bailey Zappe in the 4th round.
Joe Milton is a steal in the 6th.
Things could have been different if we had Milton vs Zappe backing up Mac.
We’ll just have to agree to disagree. If you're sticking to offense, then UNH's Dylan Laube could've been our 3rd-Down Back, a position never adequately filled since SweetFeet's career ended half-way through Corky's rookie season; a couple of decent WR prospects were still available at 193, including Brendan son of Jerry Rice; heck Jaheim Bell himself would've been a more acceptable pick there; and need I mention a couple of decent...Guards... who were still on the board too?
Dejavue?Only in New England can a QB be drafted at 3 and fans are more excited about the QB drafted in the 6th round.
I'm sure. But it was extremely unlikely to happen once. To expect that to occur again on the same team in the same lifetime...Dejavue?
No, he’s bigger, stronger, faster, smarter with a much, much stronger arm. I think he’s a first round talent whom the team needs to be patient with.Imho, he's gonna have a long career along the lines of a Tyrod Taylor (who still has notable long air yard throws in his mid 30s).

Everyone is going to love him. He’ll be loose.
In a year all the pressure will be on DM, who showed signs of being a pressure cooker under too much strain last season at UNC.
True.Cannot teach 6'5" ... he is a unicorn and it will be interesting.
Yep.Dude has a generational arm - just let him chuck it.
Get your facts straight. Rourke was a QB at the University of Ohio as a Bobcat. Not Miami of Ohio.
Also - he played one full season as a starter in the CFL in 2022. 248-of-313 passes for 3,281 yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. That is not one interception for each touchdown.
