Tells you Brissett is really a 1 year guy. They’ll let Maye and Milton compete in camp, Zappe probably ends up on the Practice Squad. In 2025, Brissett moves on, presumably Maye is QB1 and Milton is QB2. 3rd guy will either be a cheap journeyman veteran or nobody.
Rourke

Would have preferred RB Dylan Laube, UNH

or
TE Tanner McLachlan, Arizona
TE Dallin Holker, Colorado State
TE Brevyn Spann-Ford, Minnesota
RB Cody Schrader, Missouri
RB Blake Watson, Memphis
RB Dillon Johnson, Washington
CB MJ Devonshire, Pitt
CB Kalen King, Penn State
CB Dwight McGlothern, Arkansas
CB Myles Harden, South Dakota
FS Trey Taylor, Air Force
Would have preferred Laube to Dial, but I love the Milton pick.

This is a planetary pick. I think that phrase may have originated with Bill Parcells.

How many people on the planet have Milton’s size, speed, and arm?

And he can run downfield and catch it
Our new QB room is like a middle aged man buying a sports car getting hair plugs, penile enhancements a sleeve tattoo going back to college and starting their own business all while cleaning out their bank account to pay for the mistress to the mistress.

Ian Rapoport saying that Bailey Zappe potentially set to be moved in a trade now given where the QB room is.

I wonder what the market is.

I'm sorry. I can NOT take Wolf seriously. A 2nd f'in QB? REALLY? How f'in STUPID.

As for DIAL. *SMH* he may or may not amount to anything other than a special teams player.

Probably a conditional 7th at best. Didn't finish strong at all last season, which is unfortunate and certainly hurt his value.

If someone trades anything more than a bag of balls or a 2029 7th round for Zappe, I'd be amazed.

The Pats received a 2024 7th (#231) two years ago, for N'Keal Harry.

So my guess is a 2026 seventh?

Dial is not a bad player, saw a decent amount of him. Certainly worth a look in the sixth round.

Great points. Totally agree. Incredible pick at this point in the draft. It’s going to be fun watching him mature into an NFL caliber QB. Hope his head is on right

You're assuming he even makes the team..

I've been saying it all along. The offense needs talent. Joe Milton *is* talent. High-end, special talent. Now, it's up to the coaching staff to both use him correctly, and develop him.
