No one is running around here demanding people stop their positive takes....
Yes they are... scroll up.

Go read some responses to yesterday's picks... we're supposed to be happy and put a positive spin or we're just being negative.

Osborne is the best WR the Pats have currently.
Demario and Osbourne... when Bourne gets fully healthy or Juju does they'll slot in as third and fourth best.

Yea because they want you to stop your negative takes.

That's their position anyway. The only pick I've been fond of was the first one.

I'm not mad the Patriots addressed their WR issue, I'm not just sure they actually addressed it.

If every returning lineman is healthy at the start of the season, which player are these two new drafted linemen replacing?

Nobody, unless last year's rookies have a total meltdown or get injured.
I mean I really hope Wallace can be better than Lowe lol.

Wallace is probably starting and expecting a 4th rounder to start year 1 seems unfair way to analyze the pick (I suppose the same can be said of 3rd rounders too but Wallace doesn't have much in front of him to beat out).

it's going to be amazing listening to all the excuses about Baker when he's leading the team in Drops and has more drops than TDs.
Watched him a bunch - he was really good for UCF. Had 52 catches for 1,139 yards and 7 touchdowns. And did it against pretty good competition in some of those games.

I don't think anyone actually thinks the Patriots did anything to convince us on April 27th that the offense is gonna be any good.

Fine by me, grab some blue chip prospects, mail in another season, have another top 5 pick and do it all over again.

Lowe was starting because of injuries, will Wallace start over a healthy Calvin Anderson or Sow if they kick him outside? I doubt it. Will he start over Okorafor, I'm not sure... but in any case they didn't come away from this draft with a left tackle and they'll be looking to fill the position again next offseason. They fumbled this draft class after #3.

He's a 3rd rounder though, 68th player picked.

It’s a real Ted Thompson-like draft, especially at WR.

O line was definitely one of our biggest needs. I agree more specifically it was tackle but not going to complain because one of the 2 we took is a guard.
If it had been in the 7th round, I wouldn't complain either. But it wasn't. And that's the problem. Depth Concerns at CB and Safety, There is no way OG should have been on the RADAR. And certainly not a Conversion project.

Draft a rookie QB followed by a WR and 2 OL, I am fine with that logic

If we are rebuilding and looking at the long run, we should be drafting BPA, not forcing picks for needs and to be a possession and power running team.

Agree.

By better half is a UCF grad and fan, so we watched them nearly every Saturday.

I do like this pick.

Calvin Anderson and Orkorofor are so good my bad you're right why I the world would we try to upgrade from that.

I would be fine with this, if the Patriots were taking Best Player Available at every spot. They objectively did not do that.
