Three picks left.

Depending on who is available, some combination of TE, RB and CB please.

DT, Edge and FS will probably have to wait until next year.

No point in even looking at who is still available yet since the Pats still have to wait 66 picks to choose again.

Chill, its just a game. You are wound sooooo tight. Let them have at least rookie mini camp before you have a coronary.
This is essentially a game day thread. People are definitely wound tight. Me included.

Like to see maybe some help at IDL, outside CB, TE or FS with the remaining

The *****ing and moaning combined with stupid takes is always impressive from you.
Before they’ve ever played a down for us that’s what’s funny. I mean at least see what they look like in our offense before labeling them.

I'm old enough to remember when the Pats were league doormats.
Thats why you have to calm down, we are too old to get this worked up. I used to have to drive home from school to Maine to watch their home games because they were all blacked out in Boston. Our line and wide receivers weren't league average last year, they were bottom third at best and our qb was dead last. They needed to fix all three positions and hopefully they have.

I like what we did at WR. I have little idea about the actual players but double dipping was a good choice. Plenty of gems have been found at the position in later rounds.

Bourne and Pop are clearly two of the three receivers who will be starting (assuming KB bounces back from the ACL).

Then you have Polk-Baker-Osbourne-Thornton-JuJu. That’s five guys who really have to fight for those two other spots in which they’ll be consistently on the roster and see playing time. Heavy competition is always a good thing.

Nothing is guaranteed for Osbourne who came in as a decent FA, or Polk who was a top pick for us. They have to fight for their spot.

Taken as a whole the Patriots decided to inject talent into the offense. Say what you want about individual picks, but I love the direction of this draft. Clearly they knew what side of the ball needed the most help and they are doing exactly that with all of their picks so far. Feels like a really good first draft for Wolf and Mayo so far.
Agreed, I do like the fact that they made a concerted effort to upgrade the offense.

Just not loving a couple of the individual picks.

Let's keep it going with the addition of a TE and a RB.

If people were panning BB picks you'd be cheering.

Stupid takes in your stock and trade... go back to sleep.
Says the guy who was adamant our offensive line and weapons weren’t a problem last season

Did you watch him last season lol? Hes a shell of himself. Hopefully we drafted two of what JuJu used to be. That would be an upgrade.
He was coming off knee surgery that happened after the postseason because he played in the Super Bowl. It usually takes a full year to get back to full strength.

The point is he's already paid, they entered this draft needing a QB, LT and outside X receiver... they wound up with a QB, no left tackle, two possession receivers and a guard who shouldn't make this roster if everyone else is healthy. Color me unimpressed...

I still see several Safeties available who are intriguing.

Kalen King, Jaylen Simpson, Jaden Hicks, Malik Mustafa, Beau Brade, Sione Vaki

And Leonard Taylor is one of the best DTs in this draft

The Offense needed was a lot of help. They got a start on this 2-3 year project.

What the Defense needs is extensions.

This ^ is a lie.

If you have to lie to appear smart you should probably go talk about something you actually understand... like basket weaving or something.

Obviously Layden Robinson at first was a surprise but wow on the arms and hands. 34 5/8 and 10 1/2 on hands. That’s like a no ******** type of football frame. Nothing coerced, just a natural 6’3 300 pounder . Apparently he had a lot of visits with some top 30’s with Green Bay, KC, Houston, 49ers, Bills and Dolphins to name a few. A few had predicted a 4th to 5th on him. Hopefully he’s good enough to take over at right guard at some point so they can move the ultra athletic Sow to the LG spot. Having the experience with the 33 starts can’t be a bad thing either.

They're the same guy, except for Thornton. May as well just draw straws.
