I wonder what type of draft compensation Mike Williams would go for. The chargers need to shed a lot of salary before tomorrow so maybe he won’t cost much. Same for Keenan Allen.

I would love Higgins for a second, if he cost more than that I’m not sure it’s a smart move this early into the rebuild.
I mean the thing is if the Pats trade for a number 1, sign a LT and draft Daniels they might be a wildcard team. So it doesn't have to be the bottoming out, doom and gloom rebuild...but it probably will be

Eagles are having a day where do they get the cap from.
We are spending like we have no frickin cap.

hope for the upcoming days

S: Blackmon, Fuller, Gardner Johnson, Curl, Simmons
Edge: Jennings
DT: Rankins, Armstead
OT: Tyron Smith for 1-2 years --> he can be a great Mentor for the hopefully day 2 OT pick
WR: trade
CB: Howard

Just say NO to Gardner-Johnson and Smith.

I'd prefer Kendall Fuller over Xavien Howard.

Eagles signed CGJ
Chiefs just opened up 22 mil in cap space by reworking Mahommes deal.

Justin Jefferson + pick #11 + pick #42 in exchange for pick #3. Take a QB at #11 like McCarthy or Nix and use picks #34 and #42 on a tackle prospect and a high end WR2.

Edit- Callahan at the Herald indicated he expects Williams or Allen would only cost a late round pick.
I’d do Willliams for a third or fourth.

Pipe dream.

You have to send comp for them though. I have to imagine at least a 2nd. You could draft a really good WR this year at #34.

No way.. Look what Carolina got for Burns. None of those three are a bigger impact type player.

A 3rd/5th would do it.. but I wouldn't do it until after the draft. Wait until you see what you actually need and then it's also with next year's funds.. not this years.

They’re gonna get Mahomes a WR.
Chiefs needed the cap space, until they can trade Sneed and wipe that 19m off of their books, but watch them swoop in and sign Ridley.

I would be willing to throw Deus and Captain Stone into any trade, to sweeten the pot. Go big or go home.
I have not heard much from the Captain lately
He can ruffle feathers
Extremely knowledgeable and one of my favorites

The problem with the trade is that your likely settling for a QB that isn't a fit for you at 11. Much like Jones falling to the Pats at 15. As much as I'd love to add Jefferson, you'd be hamstringing the Pats at QB. I don't want the Pats to be in a situation again like they were with Jones. Though part of that was McDaniels not sticking around longer, I admit.

I think that, if they trade down to 11, I'd much rather grab Odunze or Nabers or an OT or possibly trade down than grabbiing a QB that you aren't sold on. Looking at a QB later on whom doesn't have the huge financial investment that you can move on from after 2 years if he's not working out with MINIMAL financial pain would be more beneficial than sinking numerous 1st round picks into a position the way that the Bills and Jets had to.

The WR situation is what it is right now. Still holding judgement since very little movement has happened in the market.

But I’m getting a little agitated we haven’t signed more pieces yet in general. We have to bring in some new faces here. This isn’t a “run it back” team.
