What a dilemma.
We need a LT, WR and a QB.
We only have 2 picks tom really get guys who can help us next year.
And we probably need to trade into the first round by giving up our 3rd pick.
There are a lot of good LTs and WRs who can help you immediately. All of them will be gone by the 3rd round.
Alt, Fashanu, Fautanu, Mims, Latham, Kingsley S., Guyton, Morgan, Paul: none of these guys are making it to the 3rd round.
You might consider using a guard as a right tackle if you lose Onwenu, but then you're just recreating the same dynamic, but those guys are out there: Barton, Beebe, Zinter, etc.
This is a really good year for centers as well, but we already have a backup for that position, UNLESS Cole Strange's career is over and we move Andrews to guard. At which point, Powers-Johnson, Van Pran, Frazier, a few others come into play.
WRs beyond these top guys are going to be iffy: Harrison, Odunze, Coleman, Nabers, Franklin, Thomas Jr., Mitchell. With Worthy, Legette, Corley, you really don't know what you're getting. McConkey can be boom or bust, he could be a Cooper Kupp, or a Braxton Berrios. Regardless, none of these guys are making it to the 3rd round, except for Corley. And he is developmental. Jamari Thrash will be there in the 3rd or 4th.
