A Patriot fan is saddened with the way it ended. No need to split hairs. A Patriot fan applauds the performance of both for the contributions of both. You're a real
piece of **** "Patriots Fan" if you think either one deserves platitudes over the other.
It's a game. They won the game together. I'll never see it as BB vs. TB. Ever. That's how I know I'm true Pats fan.

Keep shoveling dirt on your own grave, chump..
Bro everyone here is a true fan. Only weirdos like us spend their time on a NFL message board of our favorite team lol

This makes literally no sense. What is it with people and this "true fan" cringe ****? You're a true fan according to the definition you came up with yourself.

That type of proclamation is cringe but I'm guessing the Miriam definition probably doesn't include hating one the most accomplished members.

Garbage franchise ... cannot believe Bill lowered himself for 2 interviews.

My prediction, we look back on this and say that this was the best thing that could have happened to Bill. A lot of these teams will flop with their new HC, the media pendulum will swing to "how were these teams so dumb to not hire Bill", he'll get a better opportunity next cycle.

When you read this thread, you realize they were blown away by several of the candidates, none of them were Bill. Without getting into details, it makes it clear why Bill wasn't selected even though he's never mentioned.

There's a lot more that goes into these selections than historical football knowledge and Xs/Os. These franchises are looking for young energetic leaders that can motivate, develop and inspire this younger generation of players.

Both these posts nixes Bill.

Why Bill thinking he could re-structure their entire operation was a deal killer. Too complex.

Great young talent out there!

I disagree. It'll make even less sense next year. Bill will now be 73 and a year removed from daily football interactions. Then there's his whole aura being squashed by nobody hiring him this season.

A new hot shot young coordinator will emerge (or several). Guys that weren't picked this cycle are in the queue. The younger HCs are getting 6/7 year contracts so there will be less opportunities. Doubtful any of these teams will be looking, either because they have newer coaches or are being successful:
ARZ
ATL
BAL
CAR
CIN
CLE
DEN
DET
GB
HOU
IND
JAC
KC
LAC
LAR
LV
MIA
MIN
NE
PIT
SEA
SF
TB
TEN
WAS

Possible teams looking based on results:
BUF - strong GM
CHI
DAL - Jerruh
NO - strong GM
NYG
NYJ
PHI - strong GM

I suppose the NYG is a possibility but after Judge and Daboll, their fan base would prob. lose it w/ another ex- Pat. Maybe not. CHI is an interesting choice given they have a very young GM. Then there's the Rats. Don't see it.

I honestly think his window closed.

Drew got hurt and then as he got healthy Bill had a choice to make between the 2. He chose Tom. And then again after the AFC Championship game he had a choice between an injured Tom Brady and a healthy Drew. He again chose Tom.
He was forced to put in Brady after his original choice, Drew, got injured.

False

BB did not like Dew. Especially after he disappeared in Montana during contract negotiations with GM Bob. BB was against giving Dew that deal, but GM Bob always has a soft spot for QBs who are ready to turn the corner just as soon as the next missing piece is in place, In Dews case it was it had no OL or RB as the rotation went.

I might be missing your point but it sounds like your saying Bill was so confident in Brady that he was willing to risk his relationship with his boss and in turn risk his job by sticking with Brady over Drew.

Thats what BB did.

Bledsoe did not get his job back. BB had no confidence in Bledsoe. Thats why he traded him to the Bills.
