Lol..cut the nonsense..

And here I was thinking we might give up a 3rd or 4th for a guy they don’t want. Sure, lets give up first round picks because Chicago thinks they might get someone better.

I really want MHJ at 3, we know he is going to have a great work ethic. I watched an Interview with MH Sr and he said they watched game film as soon as MHJ started playing. If you told me I could have a good QB at 3 (which I think the top 3 QBs are just good but not special) or Calvin/Moss type at 3, I am choosing the WR.

I'm a huge believer that a top 10 QB is a major gamble (picking 1st round OL/DL seems to be the safest bet).
But, on the other hand, using a top 3 pick on a WR - a position that has been absolutely impossible for the Pats to land for 20 years seems negligent. Now, that very well could be due to BB's lack of instinct at WR evaluation...
But, some of the very people at the top of the personnel dept. are still here that were here when we picked TT.
So, it's just hard to know.
All things considered, trading down for a guaranteed franchise LT, and picking up an extra low 1st round + high 2nd seems most prudent.
Because the draft is a crapshoot, and the more swings you take, the more chances to hit.
Nix might end up being better than Daniels in the pros, Penix might be better than Williams when adversity comes in the NFL.

MHJ getting picked at 3 immediately becomes the WR1 in the pats offense for the next 10 years. He's generational.

And if Harrison is gone by number 3, do you take nabers or a qb?

I take Williams or Maye at that point.

I'm not convinced Odunze isn't better than Nabers. Slower, but great route runner, and fights off the line. Nabers can be neutralized. He's dynamic though.

Can Troy teach nabers how to beat press man coverage?

Shouldn't have that been taught by now?

It's a good question though for a number of reasons.

One, Troy is tied to the area. And two, he is a favorite of the Kraft family. He was Myra's favorite player, that's for sure. They used to have long conversations.

Harrison is amazing, if the bears pass on him, they are out of their mind.

So if Harrison goes first and Williams goes second,

Do we take QB maye, OT alt, OT fushango , or WR nabers at number 3.
