Screw that. Don't bring him back and risk him injuring himself again. The season is over. The Pats are going into rebuild mode with a new GM and coaching staff. There is no upside to bring him back.

Let's talk future on a Patriots Monday...
1. BB walks into sunset. Maybe let Groh become GM? Or bring back Ziegler.
- Maybe BOB as HC, or stay as OC to keep some continuity for most offensive players.
- Maybe Mayo as HC, or stay as true/only DC
2. If BOB bolts, then hire young O-minded HC
3. QB - Draft Williams, Penix, Daniels - I don't care which... it's all a crapshoot
- Keep Cunningham as a #2/3
- Sign a Vet with the same style who can mentor... CRAZY idea - RGIII (he could have the same resurgence Vick did in Philly)
- Or Dobbs, Bridgewater, Minshew, Mayfield

Everyone I have heard talk about Groh seems to believe he is not ready for the role he has now and that he was promoted too quickly and it shows. Why would we want him to run things? Ziegler, on the other hand, is a possibility.

But in reality, I want Kraft to go in another direction and get the best people for the GM and head coaching job even if it is not in the organization. In fact, if I was Kraft, I wouldn't keep much of anyone and go in completely different direction. I would be too afraid that Belichick guys would just try to continue what Belichick was doing with some minor tweaks. And one of the biggest problems with Belichick is he still looks at building the team as if it is 1999.
