The tweet you quoted is literally saying Onwenu had a great game.

It's pretty clear to me that people don't understand the differences in the positions and how they require different sets and that changes how different blocking is done.

People here think that I'm bagging on Onwenu for the less than stellar game. I'm not. I'm acknowledging that he's just not as good at RT as if he was at RG.

She called him a pedophile and accused him of other weird stuff regarding child pornography or something. This conversation was quickly taken down.

Prior to her meltdown, she was exhibiting some odd behavior taking enthusiasm to another level, calling posters by their first names (who she doesn’t even know) and constantly banning them from threads for no reason. She had multiple warnings from posters to cut it out, but she underestimated them. They unloaded on her after BCG let her have i which I think caused her meltdown. It was ugly.

By the way, he hasn’t posted since the season started.

That sucks. I liked her and we’ve chatted in DM but maybe the job just wasn’t for her if she couldn’t handle it and let that go out of control. I think you need thick skin and know how to handle situations and different personalities. It’s not for everyone I guess. I don’t think I could do it.

She did moderate the GDT hard. She accused by her of being a Bucs fan in there lol and I got warned about being removed but she told me in DM she was just chirping. Lol. I think GDT should be left alone except for obvious situations… these days there would be 3 posters left in there by game end if it was modded like that lol

@FCB02062 was certainly one of her favorite whipping boys. Guy would show up and say hello to everyone in the GDT and be banned before kickoff.

He was one of main guys on her hit list and she would call him by his first name for some reason. I remember he got banned from a thread for telling her something that happened before she started watching in the 90's and she got offended by it. It was very harmless.

It was really self inflicted. Why she went out her way to do what she did is only something she knows.

I'm just scratching the surface, but her problem was she wasted way too much time patrolling game day threads where posts instantly got buried, so there was no need to waste time deleting posts and ban people. She did talk a little too much **** though accusing posters of being Bucs fans which isn't what a Moderator should be doing. She underestimated that the posters she was picking on was a minority, but it turned out to be a lot more than she realized which all joined in with BGC that last day of the 2022 season. The amount of posters chiming in on how terrible she was I think took her by surprise.

Regarding BGC, I've noticed he's been unhappy with the direction of the board for a while and I think he's over it. He may only show up during the draft at best.

After years of noticing that BB is thinking on another level, that punt team play that earned Indy a 70-yard punt had me thinking the same thing but in a bad way…

That decision, plus the missed chip-shot by our 4TH-round PK, almost certainly cost us the win unless Indy had some come-back mojo in them heretofore unseen... And that's in spite of Corky soiling himself as usual all game long.

Another example is that Bill had the 1st pick in 2nd round of the 2011 draft (a trade from Carolina for the Pats 3rd round pick in 2010). He had all night to think about what player of all the players left he could chose from, yet picks Ras-I Dowling who had a lengthy injury history.

He also could've traded the pick (my ass-umption) to San Fran for #s 45, 108 & 141...

The myth that Onwenu is a great guard and average tackle is busted. He’s a must re-sign this offseason.

Too bad that Onemenu's & the Sow's pass blocking, especially on 3rd down, was Garbage.

People that discount Belichick's impact, even with Brady only need to go back and look at the playoff histories of those other coaches in January. People can credit Brady, which is great because you need the quarterback to not falter, and obviously, Brady was the best to ever do it. But there were a fair amount of games over that span that were tight, and they won some of them thanks to the defense, clock management, and some of the in-game decision-making.

Belichick doesn't freeze in those moments, and he makes the right decisions when it matters most (the Malcolm Butler thing aside ... that one still irks me ).

I've said it before, put him on the sideline in place of some of the other coaches who have failed recently in the postseason with those same rosters, and I'd be willing to bet the outcome is different. Obviously, his team-building has been lacking on the offensive side of things in recent years, but in a big game, I'd certainly take him in a second over any of those other guys in January (and February), a couple of whom he beat head-to-head in the postseason and for reasons that went beyond the quarterback.

I will never forget that Butler benching. And can’t wait to read the full story once everyone is retired and old

Which sack? Asking sincerely. The one that came from the right was a missed chip by Henry and a blown block by Stevenson.

Yeah I only see the pressure leading to a sack (1st 8:55), but Mac could've thrown that one away. Otherwise, none of the other sacks were on 71 at all. The Rham whiff (2nd 7:05) was embarrassing.

Really great analysis by Evan Lazar. It's easy to see why BOB was pissed. You dial up the plays to put the team in a successful position and your QB routinely makes just about the only decision that doesn't lead to a good outcome. Mac's time has to be over. They've been way too generous.

There's also great commentary on the defense. We have some exciting young pieces on defense. Barmore went toe-to-toe with arguably the best Guard in the game. Jennings had four stuffs.

Mac made an awful mistake but if you really wanted to win the game that was not the time to make a QB change.

I suspect that they had no faith in Mac, and knew it was next to impossible with Zappe, but figured to put him in and see what he could do, to gague whether or not he could fit somewhere in the future in nE. If he fails it is not an indictment, but if he succeeded, it would be afeather. I think it turned out mediocre. He actually looked decent getting nea rmidfield, but of course the tactic at the end was pretty bad. But, you are scrambling,m trying to make something happen, etc. But with what they saw, I'd say they see him as no better or worse than they did before.
So, really, this was more about seeing what to make of Zappe, rather than trying to win. They gav eup on that with Mac.
