Cam Achord, Troy Brown, and Joe Judge need to go at least.
If I'm troy.. having had a nice GIG being a sports analyst.. then going into coaching, probably making minimum wage, as we know the patriots don't pay thier coaching staff much. Also having no talent and then trying to teach these guys.. I'm sure he'll be done at the end of the season.

Question is is it no talent or we we having issues developing the talent that is there?

the talent is mid for sure, but we have receivers making the wrong reads/running the wrong routes in week 9.....that's simple prepartation

TT has been here how long and he still can't run a proper route?

Well.. we know the organization cannot draft WR'S, as in the case of Thornton another 2nd round bust. I've made a comparison that when we had Doug Gabriel, Jabar Gaffney and Caldwell.. those guys were at least respectable by mid season... so yeah I guess it's no talent that can be coached.

I recall when he was drafted his college coach was kind of surprised he was taken so high.

i suspect the mental side of the game might be Boutte's issues as well, but after a year and a half, if you can't make the same read as your QB and end up nowhere near the ball, someone isn't doing their job

The punter is special. The kid did a coffin corner a couple of weeks ago. How often do you see that these days?
Baringer... Nice kid. Nice leg. The more i see him, the more i hate him. (think about that one for a bit plz)

but otherwise Arch, the ST's aint so special this year, are they?

I will give Troy credit for taking all the blame on himself today, but it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't appear to be a very good coach. Being a good player doesn't necessarily make you a good coach.

I kinda hope that the Kraft keeps him and lets him go the Andre Tippett route and become very successful in the organization on the front office side of the business. I hope he always has a place in the Patriots family. Just not as a coach.

It is interesting that Troy Brown is being relied upon to teach a WR how to run a route. You are either good or you aren't. Case in point Thronton vs Douglas. Douglas didn't just miraculously learn how to run a route from Troy Brown.

Route running can be taught. But not every WR can be taught good route running. What Troy has to do is show the receivers what they are doing wrong and work with them to improve their technique. To a certain extent it is on the coach, but the player has to take responsibility for their play.
But we are seeing bad route running across the board and the young players not developing like they should. Douglas isn't a great route runner either. You can just get him the ball quickly and let him improvise. You cannot do that with Thornton though. He isn't that type of receiver.

does that mean TT is not getting coached well enough? Or is he just dumb as a post and/or not paying attention?
You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

When have we seen a WR leave the Pats and do well?
