Potential malcontents thread

It seems like many fans here are content with the status quo even if it means a 1-16 record (an actual possibility believe it or not). I'm not and if it happens I sure as hell don't want the man who led the Pats to that piss-poor record to continue, not even for a day. I never liked him much to begin with but he completely lost me when he started dumping top talent over money while keeping himself as the highest paid person on the team.

He's doing so poorly that I still think it's possible that he's tanking. If he stays after this year we'll know that he was and all of Bob's talk of replacing him was just that.

Speaking of bucks, do the Pats spend less on players, coaches and so on because of the Krafts or BB? Honest question.
I'm guessing that it's both of them.

The Judon tweet is a little weird. He's like the face of the franchise right now. Hopefully that is just him being nice to a fan.

Judon is a winner, and he believed he was going to a winner. Imo he’s given his best effort, and has been vocal trying to get other winners to come here. I don’t blame him for wanting out, he wants a ring, and it’s not coming in New England. I don’t consider this as being a malcontent, I see it as wanting to win,

I was hopeful after Mac’s first year. Not a great team but an above average one. Then it all went sideways with the Matt Patricia/Joe Judge OC experiment (or whatever that was). Bill could screw around when he had future HOFers on his roster. He doesn’t have anyone like that now and the buck stops with him.

Pats were in most of the games but by the realistic standards you set in your post, did you really enjoy watching the Cowboys or Saints games? They were hideous blowouts/shutouts. Right now they’re not even sniffing the playoffs. That leads to malcontents and I can’t say they’re wrong.
I don't think anyone is wrong, I just know I enjoy watching the games each week. not only that I enjoy considering things that could happen each upcoming game and it doesn't really change that much from week to week. I just really enjoy rooting for all the players and coaches on my favorite football team. Yes, I prefer when they win and I definitely don't enjoy the game as much when they get blown out, but it is never enough that I would not watch one of the games because I am displeased with the team, and I definitely wouldn't "spoil" every thread on this forum with my whining and constant complaints about the team. Just not wired that way, I guess.

I’m fine with a 1-16 record, because that’s your best shot at getting the QB you want, and getting back into long term contention. Clear out the vets wasting $$$ and roster space, draft hard assed players that want to win, like Keion White, and bring in players with winning mentality in free agency. Turn the franchise back around fast, don’t waste years doing it. I’ll take a season of sucking to achieve long term goals,

I'm guessing that it's both of them.

Imo that’s Belichick. He’s a a total hard ass on spending. Kraft has shown he will write the checks when Belichick wants him to.

If BB is tanking on purpose then forget the GOAT coach conversation - that would also knock him off the top tier of all time great head coaches in my book.

Do you think we should be cheering for the effort made by this team this year?

Finding fault with this team is easy and helps people blow off steam.

If your still cheering for this team, your either the ultimate optimist or your just not paying attention

Fans all deserve their own opinion

Dingleberry won't be able to respond to you.

With respect, Jack Jones isn’t good enough to move the needle. Boo hoo. Left the building. As if. I don’t care if he leaves and never returns. We’re not talking 2001 Ty Law here.
Jack is a good player but not in the stratosphere of gonzo.. it's so glaring how average we are at CB without Gonzo.. JC JAGson got his money and quit, he and Jack seem like locker room head cases.

I do agree to some extent. For me this season is about playing the young guys and seeing who will be part of the future. Honestly Jones has some talent but nowhere near enough talent to act the way he does. Bill or a new coach I wouldn’t be mad if they moved him this offseason.

So many ***** ***** ***** ...
I am like how does one enjoy football being so miserable.
Is the only reason they watch is winning ... the other team never gets credit for winning.
Doesn't bother me to read it ... actually is funny IMO ... popping their circuit breakers post a loss.
