You're going hear
Looking forward to people telling me it was worth keeping Uche and Dugger for 9 more games as they walk in free agency.
You're going to hear it from the Homer spin Doctors.

Am I correct that in the last six months (meaning after the draft), the highest pick trade for an offensive player is the 4th for Trey Lance?

With all his injuries, Uche probably will be walking toward free agency. Dugger on the other hand will be *sprinting*!!

Never thought the Pats would trade anyone unless someone really overpaid for a player. Belichick is going to manage this team as if they have a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl even if they do not win another game this season. He doesn't have it in his DNA to admit the season is lost and have a fire sale.

And based on the lack of trade deals, few teams were willing to overpay for players who aren't more top tier types.

If they are smart, they leave this situation in NE.
I think Uche probably goes elsewhere. There was talk that contract discussions were had over the summer but they have halted since apparently. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a number and Uche's agents want to test free agency.
Well, we have one poster who has decided that we won't sign Uche or Dugger.
I would be happy to see Dugger re-signed but up until Sunday he was playing out of position in the McCourty role. Wonder if that is a coincidence in a contract year.

Other than the second and third that the Commanders got today for Sweat and Young, that is the highest pick trade for any player.

Yes, but the question is how we use the money. Much of it will be used to re-sign players. We could end up signing more players or losing more players.
I see what you’re saying but if they have that much cap room and this bad a team . . . I think signing more players is more likely . . . Unless they get super cheap.

Feels like the league thinks there was a fire sale in NE and offered us fire sale draft picks for our players.

A fire sale was not going to happen with BB here.

To be fair Eagles were pry hosing us but now I’m guessing that’s where Uche goes next year

That's ok!!!!! Bill must really like our players and I'm all in!!! Time for one of the greatest season turnarounds this league has ever seen!!!!!! Are you ready????? Go Pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Ashley for Halloween. Lol. I miss her and her enthusiasm.

The Homers will tell you why BB is so Great it's maddening.

No. They tell you football facts, which you hate. You rely solely on your emotions and believing everything you say is correct.
