I do feel like the injuries this team has dealt with this year have flown under the radar. Yeah the team probably still wouldn't be that good with everyone healthy, and yeah every team deals with injuries, but this team has been so decimated with injuries it's ridiculous. I have to wonder if the injury situation gives Bill some level of a pass? I mean, how much can he really do to turn the team around when most of his starters are injured and they have the toughest schedule in the league? It's not like there are a ton of free agents or trade acquisitions they can go get out there mid season that will reverse their fortunes at this stage.

Throwback:

I'm surprised at just how much that looked similar to the modern game. Granted, the offense looks 10x better than the one we're currently starting, but the throws are darts and the catches are in pretty small windows.

I can see this argument, and I would understand that decision if Kraft made it (to keep Bill or to fire him). But if this season, following last, doesn't get Bill fired, nothing will.

That’s not Bills way of doing things anymore it seems. He doesn’t enter contract talks with guys, doesn’t trade ‘em, just lets ‘em hit the free agent market and if he wants ‘em back, he lets them know. If not, he plays the comp pick game. I don’t get it. If he does get rid of guys, he hardly gets anything for them. You can only get what someone is willing to give you, I get that. It just seems as though he is missing a chance to get higher value by waiting too long. The Gilmore situation, letting JC walk, Mason for pennies. If he does the same with the like of Uche, Dugg’s and others, I’m gonna be so frustrated.

I go back and forth on this a bit. Because there's obviously an element of luck (in this case BAD luck) every year when it comes to injuries. Some years are just worse than others, and I would say it's more luck than anything else when it comes to the injuries at CB.

But on offense (where the season so far has been lost), is it bad luck that JuJu and Parker have been injured, or did they come in with injury history? Is it weird that Reiff has had injuries at 34? Is it unusual that multiple WR have been suffering concussions when their lack of separation has been well documented? And in general I feel like players get injured more often when things aren't running smoothly. When offenses are clicking on all cylinders, guys catch passes with a chance to protect themselves, and o-line are less often rolling on each other because they're standing up their guys. So yeah, there's been some bad injury luck this year, but you could also argue that the lack of cohesion on offense has led to more awkward plays, awkward landings, and awkward motions.

Now, if you want to play Chicken or Egg, you could argue the lack of cohesion started with injuries early in camp and then snowballed, but still. Well run units see fewer injuries (not none, but fewer) because guys are playing from strength rather than weakness.
