Pats signing Cunningham to a 3 year deal!!!!

Jesus, you people. 3 years vs 1 benefits the team. If he’s worth anything he’s locked up cheap, if not you cut him at virtually no loss.
That strategy has worked out ohh so well in the past 5 years. If it’s cheap it’s for the Patriots.

I hope they give him a legit shot at QB. If you're line can't block it's a good idea to have a QB that can run. This fanbase needs something to be excited about right now and Cunningham was exciting in the pre-season.

I'm here for letting all the young players play, hopefully he and Thornton can bring some speed to the offense.

They didn't want to announce Malik was a QB earlier in the season because they were concerned for the starting QBs weak psyche. Mac knows he's better than Zappe so he wasn't threatened. But Malik is another story. THat's what I'm going with.

The three year deal is very interesting. It makes me wonder a bit. The team likes him enough to want to retain his rights long-term…

As for Thornton questions - he was also activated. Judon and Wheatley were placed on IR to make room for these moves, so all 3 QBs are still on the roster in addition to Cunningham. Makes me think Cunningham is still viewed more as a WR, but if he is just a WR project still, would the team be giving him a long term commitment?

I could pontificate about how we all need to calm down and he's not ready to play qb and small college and cool your jets and you're no expert and I need to study the 22 and so on. But plain ol' fun moments have been few and far between lately, so I'm just gonna say: "Hey now, that could be fun."

Are we going to see some gadget plays now?

Three year contract, but no details. Incentives? Signing bonus? Guarantees?
And what's his position designation as far as it impacts the emergency QB decision?

Definitely not from a small college. They have 23,000 students and play in the ACC against the likes of FSU, clemson and Miami.

you know ****s bad when were excited about the prospects of an undrafted QB turned WR being signed to the main roster to line up with our 6th round WR as a hopes to spark the offense.

After watching the last 2 games I think most of us would agree we're not winning **** this year.. I'm rooting for entertainment and seeing this team at least TRY to compete in these remaining games. I want to see the young guys play.

I'm not a bit surprised by this move. And he may have a big chip on his shoulder being an UDFA.

Hopefully contract includes free meals at Luciano's ... he needs more girth.
