the same who have lost to Cadinals, Broncos and JETS !! lol barely beat Browns and Doofins

Time for AD to be let loose to chomp down a Roethelsburger !

Everyone Steeler fans knows that "Rthlsbrger" makes their OL look much better than it is.

I've lurked over at steelernation for the last month.....they know all about their OL troubles. Will be interesting to see if they show up here this week saying otherwise.

Not me... our O-Line has been very inconsistant this year. Our center Sean Mahan is a liability, so is right tackle Willie Colon, and left tackle Marvel Smith is battling back injuries. Our TE's haven't been blocking well either. If Big Ben wasn't so hard to take down we'd have given up way more sacks than we have... and we've already given up a ton. Willie lacks vision and tends to get most of his yardage running through wide open lanes. I don't see us getting much of a push to speak of up front, therefore, I would be shocked if Willie even sniffs the 100 yard mark.

There you have it...

Steeler fan here. Yes, the Steelers O-line is certainly far from being miraculously "healed", although they looked much better this week against Cincy. Not that Cincy is known for their ferocious pass rush, but then again neither were the Jets. That being said, I remind you that those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Yes, the Pats BARELY sqeaked out wins the past two weeks, mostly due to their opponents short-comings (penalties, INTs, crazy timeouts, poor penalty calls, etc.) However, both of these were teams the Pats SHOULDN'T have had trouble with. The Eagles, and the Ravens? Almost as bad as Denver and the Jets.

Honestly, SMART money would be on the Pats once again handling their business this week, but this IS the NFL, and if the past two weeks have taught you nothing else, it should have at least opened your eyes that ANYTHING can happen. "Any given Sunday.." couldn't be more true than it has been this season!

Looking forward to a great game this weekend! I actually took a vacation day from work to see this one! Best of luck!

New England has struggled to get a pass rush lately. Not sure why exactly but they have really not been able to get to QBs, though they were close a few times last night.

Vacation?? You picked a bad week to take that vacation , Triggerfish.

LOL...well, I guess time will tell. A day watching the Steelers play, win or lose, is ALWAYS better than a day at work. My girlfriend is a die-hard Patriots fan (I thing she ate paint chips as a child), so this game will be BIG TIME in my house! Should be a great game. At the end of the day, I'll be loaded either way. Either from celebrating, or from depression. I'm personally leaning toward the celebration option, but either way....it's better than a day at the office!

At the risk of incurring the wrath of the fan-faithful, I have to say the Pats D has looked very porous against both Philly and the Ravens, especially against the run. I know both of those teams have very decent O-lines, but the way the Pats front and LB corps was being pushed back last night is cause for deep concern. And the Dbacks.... Merriweather, poor kid looked lost out there, the rest just managed to squeak by.

The football gods made this win possible. That's all I can say.

The run defense was good against the Eagles...Westbrook was less than 4 ypc IIRC. The pass defense was bad. Against the Ravens the run defense was terrible.

Until the 4th quarter, then the run defense stepped up, but we did go to 8 in the box......

Don't i remember that this time last week
... the RAVENS' O-line was a "big liability" too ?
