About three years too late, but he would be an upgrade. He is a shell of what he was. But he is a starter quality player when healthy.

They would really have a lot of tackles on the 53 if they brought him in, but it's a weakness. If I had to guess, they'll check in to see his status and circle back in a few weeks when he's healthier.

Kal 'El ?

Well yeah, teams should be calling to see how healthy he is. One report said he needs another month or more. It wasn’t the typical non-contact ACL tear. Godchaux landed on his leg, tearing the ACL, MCL, and PCL.

The Pats seem to be connected to every name free agent. I’m sure it’s just due diligence unless Trent’s absence is due to something very serious.

Collins has never played LT.

I have to think they were interested in him before getting Reiff, Wheately and Lowe. Who knows how interested they are in him now.

I would think the interest will be luke warm from both sides. the Pats will want to low ball him. But if Collins is healthy, being a free agent, he will be in demand.

He is only in demand if teams are looking at him for his reputation and not his recent play and injury history. I think he has the potential to be a good starter if healthy, but I don't think he is all that anymore. More likely than not, he won't be more than a body at RT.

Bill should've drafted Collins in 2015 instead of the Less than useless GeeNo Gruesome... There would've also been no need to draft the over-rated Florida State blob Tre Jackson 14 picks later either.

When he’s healthy move Strange to LT, and go with a rookie at LG.
