We are so bad that we are arguing whether sony Michel is a B or D. All said and done not a single pro bowler or bonafide hit in first round ao far .

No wonder bill likes to trade down.

Sony is not even on the Team and probably hanging on by a thread in the League. But he was Great while he was here according to some. He more than justified that First Round selection.

No, "we" aren't arguing anything like that. You have Captain Stone, who is the most negative "good" poster on the board being outdone by someone so desperate for attention that he's giving the guy who played 300 snaps a year for four years, starting and centering the Defensive Line on a team that went to the AFCCG and three Superbowls in that span, and won two of the Superbowls, an "F" grade.

That's not an opinion, it's a cry for attention.

Also, since when you're talking about grading a "pick" instead of a "player," a B means that the team did a good job.
Like I said earlier, people look at all the stars picked behind their team's selections and whine - in this case, Nick Chubb (who was, by the way, the 4th RB off the board that year). Doing that to criticize your team in hindsight is certainly unfair. They're are instances - N'Keal Harry - where the criticism is certainly justified, as everyone was clamoring for AJ or Deebo, who were sitting right there. But that's not the case for Michel or Brown or Wynn.

This is why I called out Captain as a good poster - he makes his calls in real time and lives with them. Two words: Trey Smith.

The PFW guys said the other day when Wynn first got here he seemed to be a happy, team player type of guy and they had never seen anyone do a 180 into what he became by the time he left. I don't know what if the move to RT in his contract year pissed him off or it was a culmination of things along the way but he basically went MIA for half of last season. Good riddance.

Not terrible; just not as good as some would have the others believe.
Well, that's for sure... but, not terrible? You gave the following grades... F, C-, D-, F, D-, Inc... that's even worse than how I graded them out as I reluctantly gave Michel a C- and Strange a B-. I actually like your grades better but I'm not going Inc on Mac, I've seen enough, I'm not giving him the out of Patricia for last season, he still had Belichick as his HC and he mostly played like trash. Mac wasn't that good as a rookie either, look at his season in thirds, he started and ended his rookie season poorly. Mac's only chance to be good is if he surrounded by the likes of Hill and Waddle. JuJu and Parker aren't going to cut it.

FFS Sony Michel was a B did anyone watch the SB against the Rams
I hated the Michel pick when we selected him. He was never the best RB on the team. James White was better, more versatile, and more productive in 2018 and 2019. In 2019 Michel ranked 40th in yards per attempt. Michel was 3rd on the team in rushing in 2020. He's always been a nonfactor in the passing game, which is a huge liability for any RB in the NFL today. He looked finished for the LAC last season and he probably won't make a roster for the upcoming season. Really bad draft pick. Especially considering Nick Chubb went 4 picks later. Then there's pick #32.

The problem with Wynn/Lose is that he couldn't stay on the Field the guys is made of glass I am sure BB regretted picking up his option. The guy made the club from the tub.

I thought Chubb was the superior Collège Player after watching both but I guess he didn't interview as well as Sony. Same goes for A.J. Brown - Deebo and McLaurinin instead of the well spoken articulate Harry.

LOL! You talking me? Cry for attention!?! From who?... you?

How would you grade Malcom Brown? He's a 1st round draft pick with no job after age 27. In 4 seasons with the Patriots he had 1 forced fumble, 0.14 sacks per game, and 3.1 combined tackles per game. All of those numbers were worse in the postseason: 0 FF, 0.09 sacks per game, and 3 combined tackles per game. The guy was a relative nonfactor for the Patriots. For a 1st round pick, that's an F.

Is that why the Patriots chose the inferior players?... because they're more articulate. Sounds like some ass-backwards ******** that BB would focus on. Supposed "good character" and ST potential.

Wynn ... 1 year, 2.3 million ... 400k in incentives, max is 2.7... per nesn

its actually more than i thought he would get

Looks like the Dolphins still conversed with him een though they weren't at 5M's. Looks like they only had to grab about 4 generations of y'alls entire life savings to rap. Possibly.

pretty sure sony over chubb because of scrimmage yards and the fact he scored more with less opportunities in his last season there... added dimension ... only thing i can think of...

You're being ridiculous. The guy played more than 1100 snaps, centering a team that went to the AFCCG and 3 Superbowls, winning two of them (including the shutdown of the Rams, for which HE was the starting DT).

A non-factor occupying two blockers while your fantasy football guys get the accolades. Give me a break. He wouldn't have been here in that position for FOUR YEARS, playing almost every game, starting 5 out of 6, if he was a non-factor. He was drafted to fill a role on a veteran team making its last runs of the dynasty and he did a very good job or he wouldn't have lasted.

Brown played 7 years (average for a DT is less than half of that), and 120 game, including almost an entire 8th season in the playoffs with 14 games.

You seem to think that every first round pick is supposed to be a star, but that's not supported at all by history. Brown had a good career - and did the job in New England for his rookie contract.

An "F"? That's absurd. How can I or anyone else take you seriously?

Malcom Brown was a disappointment because he had the impossible task of replacing Vince Wilfork, one of the greated DLmen we've ever had... Craw is wrong though, he's still playing - he's a free agent at the moment... wouldn't mind kicking his tires, as hes as good as if not slightly better than some of the depth pieces we have on the DL...

Sony and Chubb were graded evenly coming out. The difference as that Sony was by far the better blocker/pass protector. Plug-and-play in Brady's offense.

i didn't care either way tbh, one or the other...

gotta say I'm burnt out on players from Georgia at this point though...

It's amazing how you ignore things.
Chubb - Couldn't pass block to save his life. Sony could.

You're also ignoring things like Film Study, Play Recognition, and other things that we fans don't get info on.

Harry was a consensus 1st round pick and considered to be ahead of the others. You're putting up revisionist history claiming otherwise. In fact, the Pats were lauded by the pundits for their selection. He was a McDaniels pick. I think McDaniels hit on only 2 WRs he ever drafted. Thomas and Decker. We know he missed on Chad Jackson, Price, Dobson, Boyce, and numerous others.

McDaniels is gone. Harry is gone.

Newsflash. It's been 6 years since Sony was drafted. It's extremely rare that RBs last that long in the NFL.

It's people like YOU who insist on rehashing things, puffing out your chests and pretending like your not a blind squirrel finding a nut while taking pot shots at a 6 time SB Winning Coach that are the issue..
