The depth inside was almost non existsent. Not complaining.JFC. Three IOLs?
Brady and Owenyu were both 6th rounders, and I think Edelman was a7th.luke wypler still out there. Wonder why so many centers and guards have gone before him? Pretty obvious most teams don’t use the fans and draft experts resources. Still a lot of good names out there. Glad we have all those 6ths now. Thought they would be worthless.
Would be really weird if they wound up taking the advice of some posters this offseason. Really weak year for tackles in FA and the draft, maybe see what Strange and Onwenu can do and draft interior guys instead where there is decent talent this year. And have a couple of veteran fallbacks at tackle in case it doesn’t work out in camp. Could that be the strategy?WOW. Another OG in Mafi.. Interesting.
They should get aggressive here and move up.Thankfully we got a 4th 6 rounder back from the trade with John. Plenty of time to get 4 of your selections…..
Right, but the pros who admit that it’s all educated guesswork seem like they’re doing it better than the people who are absolutely certain they know how it’s going to work out (because they don’t and this isn’t a video game).Kinda like throwing $&@$ against the wall and seeing what sticks - and here we thought serious professionals who spent a whole year watching these guys to insure we select the best at each snd ever selection. Who knew??!!
agree Kuntz or Jarrett now, do it billThey should get aggressive here and move up.
This is how I look at the WR situation. No one from the 4th round on has measurables that are better than Lynn Bowden and Tre Nixon. So taking a WR in the 4th round accomplishes very little since you're not going to give them a roster spot. If they take a WR, it will be with the expectation they are going on the practice squad. Otherwise it's a waste of space on the roster. We have no tight ends signed after 2023. Only Juju and Thornton signed at receiver past 2023. We are going to have an army of replacements for Onwenu but no one ready to step in for any pass catchers.
Traded up for this? Rohrweiser part 2
Five-year kicker with four seasons at Eastern Michigan and one at Maryland. Ryland has the leg to make 50-plus-yard field goals and handle kickoffs, but it is nothing special by NFL standards. He will need to improve his overall accuracy and placement to make an NFL team.
This argument makes no sense. I do not watch thousands of hours of tape yet I said they should pick LanarJackson over Sony Michelle, Jaylen Hurts over Duggar, Deebo Samuel over Harry and Pickens over Thornton. I certainly would not have picked RohrweisserSo you are smarter then the million dollar scouting budget. You watched 1000s of hours of game tape on 100s players? I may not agree with choices but my looking at a few websites of ",experts" does not beat pros
The Pats also have $100 million + of cap room in '24, so they can extend (I hope) and replace..We have no tight ends signed after 2023. Only Juju and Thornton signed at receiver past 2023. We are going to have an army of replacements for Onwenu but no one ready to step in for any pass catchers.
Hines, Ferentz, Russey, Murray is who the back-ups were. Add the 3 and it's 7 potential back-ups. Steuber also played Guard in College.i think they certainly want the opportunity to kick one outside with enough depth at the IOL, with Hines and Ferentz this makes 5 backups at IOL so far
Crap shoot is a crap shoot especially after the 3rd round…Right, but the pros who admit that it’s all educated guesswork seem like they’re doing it better than the people who are absolutely certain they know how it’s going to work out (because they don’t and this isn’t a video game).
