Didn't think about it, but Uche probably has really solid trade value right now. Cheap on the last year of his deal and really popped last year. I would love to keep him, but maybe someone really wants him in a player swap.
I'd say he's probably going to end up getting an extension or possibly could get the tag if he follows up last seasons production... if not now more than ever it's very apparent what the teams thinking is..

Maximizing everything out of a player while on his rookie or undrafted player deal. I don't see them paying rham either.. he's one of our best skill position players.. just how they do business I guess just my assumptions..

Now the team is cookin’! A lot of these guys are really solid, productive players with some youth on their side. Hope we can sign some if not all that they’re bringing in this week..
I mean... nice player.. I'm ok with our safeties if he signed or not...

I liked Taylor Rapp a lot in college, he was given a lot of responsibility in that defense.

I have no idea how he's been as a pro though?

He's been solid.. I wish it was Sean Murphy-bunting.. instead though lol

Maybe a little. I personally feel JR will be a nice player for us. Basically Damien Harris with a receiving game. We needed someone to take some load off Rham and got one. Feel like the Reiff signing signifies the plan of drafting an OT early. He is said to be a great locker room guy. Would like a Gesicki type or hit a TE in the draft. Still thinking we need a Hopkins, Jeudy or even a Sutton at WR. Those prices will drop by Draft day.

Draft Needs:
OT
TE (maybe)
WR (maybe)
CB
DL to eventually replace Guy/Godchaux

Sign Gesicki
Trade 2nd for Jeudy
Draft OT Broderick Jones
Draft CB Kyu Blu Kelly at 76
Draft Edge KJ Henry at 107
Draft DL Leondre Coburn at 117
Draft WR Andrei Iosivas at 135
Might make a Brown trade more likely.

Just going to leave this here.
This is such a slow-moving car crash. It's standard operating procedure that teams establish trade compensation and then the receiving team is allowed to work on new contract details with the player. The Packers were like, "Sure, go talk to Aaron and we'll figure out the details later."

Just going to leave this here.

Rodgers gave them all the leverage yesterday stating that he intends to play for the Jets and the Jets signing players to appease them. The Packers can sit on Rodgers until September. The Jets now have to get him and get him soon.

I would think it's the opposite. By saying he only wants to go to the Jets, he's basically telling the Packers he's not going to play for another team. If the Packers want a draft pick in this year's draft, then they are going to have to trade him by April.

If they want a pick in this year's draft they were going to have to trade him by April no matter what team he went to. Rodgers has singled it down to 1 team and made that team sign players he wanted them to sign. Now the Packers can bleed that team between now and April. If they don't really care if the picks are in 2023 or 2024 then they can bleed them all offseason.

You would think Rodgers was a FA the way this has carried on.. I don't think I've ever seen a circus like this in the NFL pertaining to a player still under contract But allowed to seek out where he wants to go.. smack in the face to all the greats who came before him and didn't have free agency and sacrificed for the generation of today..

At the same time I think the Packers want to be done with this Aaron Rodgers nonsense.
