no but Bill the GM will almost be forced to overpay for a guy like Jeudy. I can't see krafty Bob being happy going into the 2023 season with Smith Schuster as the number one receiving threat. as constituted now this offense is more of a complete joke than it was last year
He has same stats as Meyers over last 3 years . Meyers fails the eye test while Jeudy looks fantastic . That's the difference . Is he worth a 1st. Absolutely not. We can sign him next year for the same contract without trading a draft pick . A late 2nd or early 3rd is acceptable. 14th is reserved for the best WR in the draft . Jeudy is not a difference maker like AJ brown .
I would absolutely think about it and leaning yes.
Denver has been a clownshow and you're not getting a WR that good at 14. You want a OT like Johnson or Jones at 14 ? You better have a proper OL coach to be ready to max them out.
I understand people see 14 and think high pick/expectations but this years draft isn't top heavy at all. Jeudy would be WR1 in this class by a good deal.
If this were back in the dynasty years when we're drafting between 30-32, then I would say yea do it.. but not at #14 and I know Jeudy is good but he's just not a WR I have that confidence in being the #1
I have that feeling about a bunch of players (especially in fantasy) and am often wrong, but Jeudy just doesn't do it for me
Of course it is terrible. There’s a reason the emotional idiots who think irrationally are largely avoiding it. And yet..feel free to count how many Jeudy posts there are by the hour.
