NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Official 2023 Free Agency Thread

I honestly thought that Bourne was going to be used far more in 2022 than he was in 2021. But Patricia went in the opposite direction and made Bourne an afterthought.
Everybody seems to have forgotten that whenever they DID put him in he immediately fumbled or committed a penalty.

After RT Taylor signed for 4y/80M/60g? You're so cute : )
Didn't see that Taylor got 60guaranteed. BTW, look at what Wylie and McGlinchey got. It's clear that Taylor was over-paid. But whatever.

This has been a kind of expected start of FA for Patriots. There really hasn’t been anyone that I am upset about losing out on. It’s all been meh.

I definitely thought we would see a trade or 2 especially for #1 WR leading up to today and a few extensions with Henry, Judon and Dugger.

If they don’t do anything and with the raise in ticket prices and from what Kraft sent season ticket holders it will definitely make an already super frustrated fan base way more pissed off.

It’s too early to post the “do something” stick meme.

Packers management (and to some degree, their fan base) want to move on from Rodgers, but that bad?

I mean our fan base is *****ing about a dead cap hit on Jonnu Smith, but Smith isn't a former MVP and SB winner.

Yeah, Rodgers would probably be retiring the next off season anyway...and they need to see what they got in Love.

I already posted it earlier in this thread...LOL.

Could we be gearing up for a big move?

Jeudy, Hopkins , Jackson, Henry.

I want to know why Dean got Butlered at the end of the season. He played 17 ST snaps and 0 on defense in the playoff game.
Because Bowles' IQ is lower than a squirrel's.

The Patriots will have plenty of areas to spend their money.

Onwenu, Dugger and Uche are all due for new deals.

Veteran cuts will happen as teams get closer to the cap. It's not worth it spending top dollar for ordinary players.

Doubt it!! What makes you think that

1-Kraft gives any type of big money to a position they have never given big money to.

2- BB gives up any draft capital that doesn’t consist of a trade backs for future 4ths and 6ths!?

Quite the exaggeration there Roc.. 2 Fumbles on the season. 4 penalties. 2 of which came against Detroit and 1 was declined. One was a false start. The other was them claiming Bourne was lined up illegally.

Krafts letter promised major changes 3 new coach hires with a weaker or same roster with stronger adversaries in the division doesn’t deliver on that promise.

Would Patriots get Jackson just to keep ticket prices high?

Report is they plan to play him at left tackle so I think that makes it less of an overpay.

No reason at all??? Umm.. How about because he's coming off an injury and was never the best receiver on the field when he played.

You sound like you've never watched an Ohio State game with him playing.
I don't know if he'll be the best or the worst and neither do you. He's had some really good games, and he's played with a ton of first rounders that have all panned out and a soon to be top 5 pick so I'm not sure if that's a good reason. It's just funny how you come across that this is a certain thing. There isn't really a sure fire WR stud in this draft like some years.

Isn’t there still a multi year waiting list for season tickets? I think they can keep prices high without a big splashy move (even if I want splashes)
