First off, this show is insufferable, particularly listening to that girl they have on to fill the token sports chick role.

Second, this is modern sports media gossip at it’s finest. Sports personality A says they believe person B did C, with no credible or first hand evidence, then, it becomes rumor that evolves into being treated as fact that it actually happened.

I know Curran is treated as gospel by too many around here, but his journalistic integrity went in the sh*tter years ago, and he’s the very thing he claims to dislike when it comes to unsupported gossip. Pure hypocrite. He’s no better than the NY media he criticizes.

I am sure that a lot of it coming from Judge and Patricia. I don't think it was a coincidence that several former players like Wilfork, Edelman, and Law within days of each other started to trash Jones for his attitude. Since then you have other former players who have sided with Jones like Faria and Ninkovich.

Word is most of the players love the guy and actually supported him during when he was acting out because he was doing what they wanted to do. Word is that David Andrews is not a fan of Patricia because Patricia stripped him of a lot of his abilities to change blocking assignments at the line. We know several of the receivers were not happy with them. I am sure Patricia was not happy that they had media people like Warner, Orlovsky, and Lazar doing videos pointing out how poorly designed his plays were and most of them talking about how Patricia was doing Jones dirty by setting him up to fail.

I mean even most of the fans and media that do not think Jones is ever going to be a good QB concede that Patricia was such an awful OC that he set Jones up for failure. So he doesn't even have the anti-Mac crowd on his side.

This year has pretty much destroyed, Judge and Patricia's careers. I think both might have a hard time finding jobs after Belichick retires. Neither guy is ever going to have a shot again at a head coaching position after this. I wouldn't be shocked if they have tried to play up Jones' attitude to make it look like he is just uncoachable and it wasn't all their fault for the offense.

Nor should they. Patricia lost the locker room in Detroit and ran the team into the ground. The lions look alot better without him this year.

And judge had the giants looking like one of the worst teams in the league last year with Daniel Jones looking like a bum. Now they just won a playoff game and people are saying Daniel Jones finally got it! Yeah what he finally got was good coaching.

And bill had these two buffoons who ran their teams into the ground coaching our offense.

There's no reason Mac Jones and this offense couldn't turn around away from judge just like the Giants did.

Watch how Bourne tries to injure Jones' throwing arm so that Zappe goes into the game.

So Zappe's throw is 15.9 mph which is incredibly slow. That tells me he was trying to give it touch to lead wide open receiver to YAC since he had 3 steps on the coverage. He gets 5-6 YAC. It wasn't a tight window throw at all.

Mac's throw is at 17.9 mph, also slow but in between 2 defenders. He needed to get ball in faster because there was a DB coming from the other side. Receiver gets maybe 1 YAC.

These aren't the same type of conditions at all.

Mac's throw averaged 54 mph. At release should be about 57 mph. Upper half throw velocity for the nfl.

Who freaking cares? I am willing to bet there are more people in the locker room who are more upset with Trent Brown's "effort" on the field than how Mac Jones has played this year.

I disagree. I think the coaching situation for the Patriots’ offense was completely unique. The Pats had hands down the worst offensive coaching situation in the NFL. Yes, there are a lot of bad offensive coordinators in the NFL, but the Patriots were the only ones that had one that didn’t even understand what it takes to run an offense.

I know you don’t agree with it, but Matt Patricia was the worst OC in the NFL last year. Hence why he is being replaced after one year and the owner made it sure to the public that he knew how bad he was (without actually calling him out by name).

Add the fact that the coaches didn’t support Jones at all. From leaks that Judge preferred starting Zappe to Belichick adding fuel to the fire to the QB controversy by refusing to bad Jones publicly, Jones was undermined all the way. Yes, a lot of it could be by his doing. But only Zach Wilson got less support from his coaches.

Zach Wilson deserved what he got, he took zero responsibility for his play, and threw the defense under the bus. This is a great demonstration of the most difficult aspect of picking player’s, especially QB’s. Wilson has great skills and ability, but he has the head of a spoiled child. Josh Allen, in the other hand, also has great athletic ability, but he was really erratic throwing the ball his first couple of years. But he worked his ass off and not only became a great QB, but also a team leader, and when things started going sideways this season he took full responsibility, and turned it back around. Could Wilson do the same, yes, but it will take serious humility, and a big g commitment to becoming a pro and a leader. As for Mac Jones, he has shown some good leadership skills, and he has shown some immaturity, the real question is whether he’s a good enough athlete to be a top QB at this level, and right now it’s looking more like that more get not be the case. He has one more season to prove otherwise, and that’s only if he wins the job next summer. It will be interesting to see what happens? Either way the Patriots need to give their QB’s a real OC, and not the garbage they handed them this season.
