Thanks Mr. Sunshine, for your wonderful input.
It's like the late 80s / early 90s again*! Oh, the nostalgia! Somehow the franchise survived that, this situation is a faceroll compared to, say, 1994.

*minus the Waxy fretting over lack of SB wins dynamic, and good riddance!

I don't get the hate for the guy.

I guess people would have prefered them to draft Devin Lloyd in the 1st, same Devin Lloyd that has allowed nearly 700 yards receiving

I agree on this one. I don’t buy the PFF stats but he hasn’t been a bad LB this season. He’s the least of their problems.

I feel like you should be able to change your pick if the starting QB on the other team does or doesn't play and you make a pick based on that. It usually changes everything. Not a big deal tho. If tua plays I would pick miami but without him I may pick the pats.

I do not think they deserve it if they beat Bridgewater, but I will watch the game and root for them.
Don't be so hard on the Pats. In Goodell's NFL bad teams now deserve playoffs too.

After the opening game against the Dolphins, Mike McDaniel was asked what he hoped from the game against the Ravens. He answered that he hoped there would be some resistance from the Ravens so that the Dolphins would be tested.

No, I'm not saying he's wrong about the way the Patriots played in the opening game.

But it did strike me as a little insulting. McDaniel essentially said the Patriots were wimps and pushovers.

I wonder if someone in Foxboro rewound that press conference this week.

That’s odd because they scored one offensive td against the pats when two New England defenders ran into each other then the Dolphins scored 42 against the Ravens scoring 6 passing tds.

After seeing the video of McDaniel looking like fool in a 90’s boy band it’s hard to see him as anything but a ****y douche.

Check out the two Miami/Buffalo games. Whatever the eventual outcome there, I don't think the current Pats' team is in the same league as either of them. Tua has his limitations, and he's an annoying little twit, but the Dolphins have done a terrific job at putting him in a context - scheme and personnel-wise - which adapts to his issues, takes advantage of his skills. This is precisely what Bill - coach and GM - has failed (miserably) to do for Mac. The bottom line is that the Pats are now so badly coached that I don't think they have much of a chance come Sunday. It doesn't bother me that much, however: this season has been about next season all along. The notion this is a playoff team has been from the start, certainly since the offensive (pun) coaching staff was announced, a soothing delusion.
Have you been watching Miami lately?

Because he's at 50% for the last 4 games. Teams are taking away those quick timing throws Miami was feasting on all year.

Tua was very competent in devising a way to get the ball to the 2 fast guys together with his coach's schemes. But now the NFL is telling the Dolphins, we've seen what you did for half the year, we're not going to give you that anymore. Try throwing the ball downfield from now on.

I'm not saying the Patriots will be able to do the same thing to the Phins because we really dont have the LBs, but the league has seen enough of McDaniel's scheme for Tua, and now it's time for them to come up with a Plan B

I keep seeing pats fans say the bills want to keep NE out of the playoffs.......WHY? Who in their right mind is scared to play this NE team? If I were any other playoff team I'd have NE at the top of my list of teams I'd wanna play.... And no the bills aren't going to take unnecessay risks just to "stick it to NE" if they don't have to. Only fans care that much. They have SB hopes. Way more important fish to fry.
They hate the Patriots with the heat of 1000 suns.

They talk about the Patriots every single day on talk radio in Buffalo.

He's pretty bad. And sadly, Marcus has fallen apart at DB lately in big moments - wonder if he's hitting a rookie wall?
Will Jack Jones be back this week? And what about Parker, haven't heard anything about his concussion.
???

Where do you see this?

I thought he was right on the Raiders WR that snagged the TD. Perfect throw, perfect catch, although out of bounds

I'm critical of Tavai not because he makes bad plays. But because he does not have the athletic ability to cover adequately. In zone he can never get deep enough. Always too slow when a back goes in motion. It's not his fault.

Not every team attacks us by isolating Tavai. Most think they can go downfield. Miami, Buffalo and Baltimore have all attacked us by going underneath. Not many other teams have.

The craziest thing is that the Bills McKenzie is the most hated Bill by Bills fans, but he's an All-Pro against the Patriots. Why is that? Why can't he do that against other teams?

The bad part of that is the team is off for 2 weeks and might lose their edge.

I just cant see the Bills wanting NE in the playoffs either.

Surely you can't be serious...

Bridgewater playing provides some hope, but again, it's fool's gold.
If we can't start the game like the 4th qtr of the Bengals game (and MP being himself, there's no hope of that), then we're just hovering around ineptitude that gives no chance of real competitiveness. I hope we win vs. MIA, but this season will end in ultimate disappointment and will be deemed the wasted "Patricia" year.

Yep, and just two seasons removed from the Really wasted Cant Newton year.

We need a shut down corner that's at least 6'1". Jack Jones is our best CB. JoJones, MJones, Mills, Wade, Bryant all getting exposed against elite receivers.
