The ot free agents in theory are fine imo
Usually they are only few OT who are good hitting FA and this earn you have conklin orlando brown, Trent brown, kaleb mcgary , mcglinchey, who could all hit FA. Those are good options for the FA but expensive
Orlando Brown has been benched and considered a failure

QB, clearly.
I honestly don't know if Mac can be fixed with a good OC and system? He's obviously the first choice because we own him 2 more years.
But, if not Mac, who's the highest ceiling FA to come in and lead this team?
Jimmy G, Heinike, Mayfield, Rush, Minshew?? All of those guys have "manager" capability.
(Jimmy makes sense and would be the best story - coming home after all of that, imagine if he could lead the resurrection of the Pats for the next few years, it'd be legendary)

The craziest idea would be to trade for Rogers for a 2 year shot at another ring.

Brown plays LT in a pass heavy offense with roll outs scrambling etc
He does not fit their scheme
At RT in a ravens run Heavy offense with power runs he exceled
He is still 100 times better than our OT and would fit here well if gap blocking will be the majority

It's a shallow FA pool this year. Doesn't look very inspiring and that's before the inevitable franchise tags and extensions. I fear we're going to have to use our 1st round pick on an OT. We need it so it make sense but it'll be another year we miss out on a 1st round playmaker.

I still say a legit #1 WR.
Look at the top teams in the AFC
Buffalo has Diggs
KC has Kelce(whose a glorified WR anyways)
Cincy has Chase

And before someone says "we won without a #1 WR before!!!" we had TB12 back then who covered a lot of warts and he did have the GOAT TE in the 2nd dynasty run. Get Mac some help Meyers as your #1 isn't going to cut it.
that is the obvious choice as i see teams with speed at WR vastly improved (Miami and Phily), i have come to the realization that the Patriots wont draft a proven WR...so i went with OLine. Maybe if Mac has a little more time, he would be better. That and an actual OCoord would be good

Outside of the typical "internal" options for new OC (BOB, or Caley or T.Brown) what about stealing Darrell Bevell from MIA.
The guy would bring a ton of new life.

As far as the offense and coaches

Except maybe mj and rham

Mac's best shot to salvage his development is a new, good, real OC. I find it hard to see Bill making such a move voluntarily, so Kraft would have to step in. And even if a move is made, it's not guaranteed to be a good one, as good OCs aren't exactly sitting homeless under a bridge next to the stadium.

As far as player needs
1. OT
2. OT
3. RLKAG
4. RLKAGM2
5. WR
6. DB. Don't stop bringing in DBs as long as Myles Bryant continues to see the field.
7. DT and DE.
8. Edge. Uche breaking out is nice. Not so nice is that he's probably gone after next season. And Judon I think the year after that.

I meant WR as being a terrible FA class. I didn't specify.

OL market just became a bit bleak.

Elgton Jenkins and Jack Conklin both signed extensions today. Probably the two FA I wanted most unless Orlando Brown somehow got free.

I can’t say that Orlando Brown’s current performance has me excited about getting into a bidding war.

(The Chiefs have passed way more than the Titans, which makes this an extra awful stat for Daley but still not great for Brown.)

gotta get them via Draft, probably highest prio

Aren't all polls fixed?

Jimmy G is like a car from Rent a Wreck.

You're expecting to be dead on he side of the road.

I’d rather look at other positions tho if possible. OL is much much needed, but I’d rather not see another interior lineman drafted with a mid first rounder.

Now Tackle? Sure. But unless Conklin was available, I did not expect many good options on the outside. Was really hoping for a high end guard to plug and play, and Elgton was at the top of my list. We had the money to give him.

What do you guys think of Connor McDermott? I hope he sticks around. Granted, it's a low bar to clear, but he's probably been the most consistent RT we've had this year.
