They really haven't let Mac run play action all year. Vikings game was the only game they gave him PA. For whatever reason they don't want to, Zappe ran it like 40% of the time he was under center.
I've been plenty critical of Mac, but I won't give him too much **** for that (non)pick. Pretty much getting down to desperation time, OL didn't hold up at all, he tried to make a play, db made a good play on the ball.
I'm not even that high on Mac, but he wasn't wrong on that play. It was just a good play by the defender. He got out of trouble and found the receiver. The other option was throw it away, which he got ripped on for as well early in the game.
