Sure, go for it but one step out of bounds and you know what that gets you.Can I comment on this? My disappearing post pointed out just how inept Ehlinger looks... any head coach who commits to a clown of that degree needs to be fired. Certainly this will mean Ehlinger goes back to the bench where he belongs (or not even, he probably should just be cut).
I still wish they'd give the TE coach Josh wanted to take a look. He's clearly got some upside. If we just promote from within (assuming BB 'reassigns' Patricia to different duties), I still vote for Troy. I don't think it's incredibly crazy given his experience playing WR, QB, RB, and DB. I imagine he has SOME perspective on how offenses work.
Asked Doug his thoughts on Strange : good response

Yeah, what is this, some kind of team?I agree with Doug. You can't rely on others to do your job playing O-line. In fact, this actually exposes him.
Nick Caley? I remember he was in the discussion in training camp before it became clear that it was either Judge or Patricia.Who's that?
Nick Caley a McDaniels' disciple.Who's that?
This fumble was probably credited to Zappe but I don't think it's all Zappe's fault. Meyers botched a handoff that appeared to be stuck right in his gut.
I think he's TE's Coach now I was expecting him to be our next OC and McDaniels wanted to bring him along to Las Vegas too.Nick Caley? I remember he was in the discussion in training camp before it became clear that it was either Judge or Patricia.
Only being good as the parts surrounding you is not a good sign. That's not what you use 1st round picks for. Him not blocking the man directly in front of him has nothing do with with someone else being out with injury. What you're seeing is him being exposed one on one like that pre draft video of him getting embarrassed by Travis Jones which upset a lot of posters here. He's already been benched twice this season. This should be a major red flag.Yeah, what is this, some kind of team?
Me too. I was really surprised that he didn't get any consideration. But maybe Bill didn't think he'd stay beyond his contract and decided not to even give him a try.I think he's TE's Coach now I was expecting him to be our next OC and McDaniels wanted to bring him along to Las Vegas too.
Yes and?
First, Mac's played 5 games.
But there are even more dropped INTs for Mahomes.
To me, it's all pointless.
But all say this for you, there are actually a lot more people that track this sort of thing than I supposed. Check this out:
And this: Patrick Mahomes gets bailed out of four interceptions vs. Chargers
It's just not my thing
You could be right or it could be that he's still a rookie who is still working on his fundamentals while playing next to a career backup O lineman against two of the best lines in the NFL in the last two games. I'd cut the guy some slack and see what happens when Andrews returns.Only being good as the parts surrounding you is not a good sign. That's not what you use 1st round picks for. Nope, that’ll come with better protection, it all starts and ends up front.Mac getting in unison with his Offensive weapons' should be top priority.
