It's easy, and only takes a few moments. If this season keeps up, he will have a lot of good stats for his agents to flog. Evidently he's one of the most efficient receivers in the league. In the top 3 IIRC with just under half the season gone.Of course it's obvious but I think Teams would be wise to try to extend good players Two years before FA and not the year before. Meyers is in a great bargaining position probably not with the Patriots though.
IIRC he had 2 very good years in 07 and 08 and in O9 there was a disconnect that season, not only with him but the entire team chemistry, which made it one of Bill's least favorite teams of the 22 odd he's coached here.So long as we're discussing players who were here 15 years ago, Thomas actually was the best LB on the field at times for the Pats but his attitude issue seemed unsolvable. Maybe if I ever got the opportunity to speak with him I'd be more understanding of how things went down from his perspective, but it didn't appear to be a coaching/scheme issue, purely mental (seemed to go downhill after the snowstorm / showing up late situation).
If you remember training camp, the media would constantly be talking about Thornton making this amazing catch or Parker showing chemistry with Mac and it sounded like they were the best WR on the field. Then you’d look at the stats and Meyers would quietly have made more catches than anyone, but had never been talked about. Efficiency moves the chains, but it doesn’t get a ton of love.Still find it hilarious that there were folks on this board in the off-season who claimed Meyers would most be the 4th WR this year and that he was on the outside looking in. The threads are there, but I’ll give the courtesy of not bumping them.
It's crazy that he doesn't get more love in these parts. Even still after improving his game again this year.If you remember training camp, the media would constantly be talking about Thornton making this amazing catch or Parker showing chemistry with Mac and it sounded like they were the best WR on the field. Still plenty of tickets available. You Mac Jones fans out there ought to put your money where your mouth is and support him while you still can...
Why not? This can't be right. Every blocking assignment for Wynn is the hardest.
We were spoiled by Troy Brown, Wes Welker and Edelman. It's crazy that he doesn't get more love in these parts. Even still after improving his game again this year.

I think there's sarcasm in his post. Why not?
If youre a DC would you not want your best players attacking NEs worst OL? Wynn is small too.
mike I think Meyers is Troy Brown good I think that's his pro ceiling. As for the other two guys he's not in their class receiver wise.We were spoiled by Troy Brown, Wes Welker and Edelman.
I'm on my third pint, how am I supposed to read this?
N'Keal Triumph don't go there. We must love and support our QB Mac.
