THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Lot's of bad football today. Let's hope the Jete continues to be worse than New England. Wtf special teams?

When Brady first started before he became a stud the one massive advantage he had over Bledsoe was that he seemed to sense pressure in the pocket. You always felt comfortable when he dropped back.

Mac clearly doesn’t sense it. That fumble was not a blindside situation. The guy was facing his body side and was breathing down his neck

it’s not dead when he catches it??
Yeah, I don’t get it. It’s not like he can catch it and make a play with the ball. That’s a weird rule I’d honestly never seen. You see guys catch the ball and whistle is immediately blown dead. Idk.

I always thought that when there is an ILLEGAL TOUCH, as soon as the player is "down" (ie knee, BACK, etc) that's where the ball stays.

Hard to believe this Jete team found a way to get to 5-2

Mitchell carried it into the end zone. Should’ve dropped it in field of play. Not like Jetes were going to do anything with it.
Is that really the rule? He downed it

No, in kickoffs you down the ball by stopping it, but if your momentum carries the ball into the EZ it's a TB
But what momentum he was on the ground and got up you can not defy gravity

I want to hear Sterratore explain that one.
His explanation would be "uhhh yeahh so umm <something something something> the refs made the right call"

I want to hear Sterratore explain that one.
I think the rules are set up for that exact reason. The spot is where the punting team downed it or a touch back, whatever is "better". Like a risk/reward thing. Idk. I think it's stupid

Bad play by Wise.

Marcus Jones > Myles Bryant

I still don't understand that punt... the guy was down when his knee hit the turf, was he not?

Edit: not only that but the kicking team can't possess the ball so it doesn't matter where he moves
Player has to stop with ball outside end zone. Play is not over before a full stop which is why you see players catch ball and throw it back before they step into end zone.

If he lose this game it’s because of our stupid offense not sticking the dagger in when they had chances

Miles Bryant should be targeted every pass play
There’s got to be some cornerback on the scrapheap that’s better than Miles Bryant
