I don't see anyone saying it's going to be a "BIG Victory". Most people are cautiously optimistic at a win and that it would be close.

Not sure why you think that Andrews is going to take a beating from the smallest D-line in the league that is also the worst Run Defense in the league.

Bryan and Elliot do not scare me at all. Garrett is the only front 7 player on that team that scares me. Clowney isn't the threat off the edge that he was in Houston. Injuries have taken their toll on him.

Getting Deontae Jones from the Falcons should help that defense. Eventually. But it's not going to take a defense that allowed 8.6YPC to Ekeler and Kelly and magically make then a 3YPC team.

The Pats will need Strong and Taylor to step up to help Rhamondre.
Yeah Garrett is something special we can't let him go off.

Yeah Kevin Harris is a big time RB was kinda surprised when we drafted him but he can spell Rham some running the rock.
Injuries happen.

10/11/22 Press Conf:
What allows [Jakobi] to just keep taking his game up to another level?

My guy : "His mentality allows him to get better, and he wants to get better. In his mind he's never good enough, so he's always working on his craft, building it and trying to expand it, what he can do and bring to this football team... He came into the league as a long shot... and he's been able to stick around as a guy who can do some of the dirty work for us and also go out there and be a key piece to catching passes, especially on 3rd downs."

Also love the answer to Reiss's question about BB:

Let’s get those talented receivers on the field.

On one hand I'm happy that this will probably mean more snaps for Bourne and Thornton. I hope that this is rectifying their mistake from earlier in the season.

On the other hand, why was LJ getting so many snaps early on if he isn't good enough to be on the roster now?

Yeah that Chubb is a load at least we have our own load on the other side in Rham. But it would be nice to have Guy back even if he's just A Big Body on the DLine.

Miles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney,Taven Bryant and Jordan Elliot...at home with a raucous crowd...and almost all of you see some kind of BIG VICTORY on the horizon. Excuse me....you guys DO realize who is playing right tackle for us, right? I sure hope Strange has his big boy pants on for this game because Andrews is going to take a real beating all day. You can do war dances screaming Zappe! all week long but take a look at what the Pats are facing up front. My strategy would be pound pound pound Mondre and quick, short passes. As the running game takes its' effect there will be shots down the field, as in ANY NFL game...but make no mistake, Zappe is facing an extremely VICIOUS, hard hitting front four on defense. He cannot afford to get knocked out of this game.
Hopefully we get to see Strong elevated for this game. Want to see that 4.3 speed. Also, I need me some TT slants. Let's make them stop that speed.

It's a game of numbers.

We can't carry all thee guys on the active roster.

Forget brissett…worry about Nick Chubb who is the best Rb in the NFL. Still can’t believe we chose his college backup over him in the draft. Serious question..when scouting the Georgia Backfield, what did he possibly see that made him think Sony would be a better back in the NFL?

Very winnable game but they are deadly running the ball and have a couple receiving weapons with size

That was the Peyton Hillis game wasn’t it?
Last loss before we destroyed the rest of the league en route to 14-2

It's about time, but how many times have we had false hope only to have these guys re-signed?

Watched some film on Chubb and he is so decisive hitting those holes. Going to be a challenge for sure.
He was like that at University Of Georgia. Wonder what we missed on film pre draft

I believe he wasn't viewed as the receiver Michel was. Pats wanted an all purpose back as we saw in many playoff games teams loading the box on LaGarette Blount. This goof by Bill was nowhere as bad as taking Jermaine Cunningham over Carlos Dunlap. The explanation was that they wanted him to play LB and run a 3-4. They scraped it one year later and ran a 4-3.

I’m extremely curious how things shake out at QB this week. By all accounts, Mac should be able to tough it out and play this weekend but I bet Bill doesn’t even entertain the thought and goes with Zappe another week - partly to rest Mac a bit more and partly to get more data on what exactly he has in Zappe.

excited to see more of Thornton, but i cant defend Bourne anymore.. he finally got some snaps last game and made like 2 separate boneheaded plays
