It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The 2022 Patriots are better on paper than the 2020 team in most if not every way but it’s very possible the outcome is the same. I just want the arrow to be pointing up at the end of the year especially when it comes to our QB.Bills looked super dominant . And played to their billing. We can live only in present and make judgements based on what we have seen so far.
As a pats fan and a realist I feel bills are the team to beat . They look stacked all across offense and defense and on pats end , team looks shaky so far in preseason and the last raiders game just drove in bucketloads of self doubt for a good majority of pats fans.
As a fan I would want the team to go deep into play offs , but as a realist I just feel at this point we are lagging behind and possibly miss the cut . Looks more like 2020 season to me for now.
I hope I am wrong .
Your boy Stafford didn’t look so good last night.Jalen Ramsey is one of the most overrated corners in the game. He's good, but not that good. He reminds me a lot of Richard Sherman.

Josh Allen is on pace for 34 ints this season. Mac is on pace for 0 ints. I’m just sayin…Good no call especially with the cry baby QB asking for a flag. I'm so glad we only have the manliest QBs in NE who would never stoop to such a low level like that
I thought thr Rams defensive game plan was kind of blah. Granted i only watched thr first half. But they seemed to play a lot of zone/hybrid zone and didn't change up their defense to remove unfavorable match ups. Bills really took advantage of this.Damn. The Bills are actually a good team…didn’t expect them to dominate the Rams like they did…
I don’t know, I am not sure if our defense can stop these dudes from scoring. Last year we were embarrassed. I pray this year Bill figures the Bills out and find a way to stop Allen.
I think the Bills looked great outsides of a few strings of bad luck and hiccups. But what we saw last night had just as much to due with the Rams as with the Bills. The Rams are absolutely feeling a super bowl hangover. The only 2 players that looked right were Kupp and Donald. Everyone else was inconsistent at best.
Ultimately though it was Stafford that kept it from being competitive late. When he didn't have more than 3 seconds or Kupp wasn't open he looked pretty crappy. Frankly he has never been as good as he was billed, and no, it wasn't just the Lions letting him down. He's always been a Matt Ryan like QB. Good with top end cast, but without it, and even sometimes with a very good cast he just craps the bed.
He had 1 TD drive then in 8 plays netted 6 yards and almost cost his team a FG. He really has no sense for the moment.
While he won't be this bad every game, I do think it is a sign of things to come. Teams now know how to handle Kupp with a competent QB throwing to him while not losing track of everything else. Kupp will get his, because he's a beast, but they won't let him take over the game and they will do that while also not letting other guys run free. The NFL saw a more deep Rams offense last year and will be more ready this year. Though the Bills D in particular made it look easier than it will.
Stafford is going to have a harder road and i think the Rams as a whole do not feel up to carrying him. Most of the players probably feel they are playing with house money.
Early Prediction: Rams under perform and finish 10-7/11-6 while the Cards take the division. If the Rams do take a step back and with GB taking a step back as well on the whole, I don't see the team in the NFC that stops the Bucs right now if they stay reasonably healthy. I feel the same was about the AFC and the Bills. I don't think KC will be the same without Hill. The Bengals will be good again but as we saw in last years Bowl they aren't really THAT team yet. I think they are still missing something and frankly only got there because KC was due to lose. The only team I think has a chance of stopping the Bills in the AFC is Denver, who might jump on them and surprise them.
Yeah, about those ...I love the end of the year prognostications after one game…30 teams in the NFL haven’t even played yet
So it looks like the Pats are going to be playing for 2nd place in the AFCE…

Maybe the Bills really will have everything clinched by week 18... which would be great news for us if we need a W to make the playoffs. After 2002 and 2008 I think we're owed a freebie.I think the Bills looked great outsides of a few strings of bad luck and hiccups. Something to think about as it relates to the Pats is that the Rams and their vaunted defense didn't stop Allen once.
Generally agreed, but I'd hardly call the SB favorite coming out and dominating an outlier.first 2-3 games of the year don't really tell anyone much.....a lot of outliers, a lot of anomalies.......i think we've seen a bad game 1 once or twice in seasons that turned out pretty well
I know one answer to someone like Allen but he doesn't play for us anymore he plays for the Bucs. Too bad.Allen extended a lot of drives on his own…not sure the Rams are built to stop a running QB like that. Heck, we are going to have our own issues with him…
