McPhee Butchers Anthem?

Anybody watching GB/Detroit game? I couldn't help but feeling Katherine McPhee butchered the anthem. Her voice had more cracks than Cincinatti's "D".

Am I being super-critical or did anyone else notice?

I have perfect pitch also. I thought McPhee sang alright in Detroit, but Kelly Clarkson sang a little flat at Dallas (halftime show). It was cold and raining out, but that would be more of a problem if she were playing a musical instrument rather than singing.

I said it through the entire American Idol season and I'll say it again; Katherine McPhee is just absolutely TERRIBLE. She couldn't hit a note to save her life, she only won (or was she the runner up? I forget...) because she's hot

Kelly Clarkson sounded pretty bad too, but to her credit, the weather was crappy and a few people told me they had been hearing that she almost didn't perform because she was sick.
