I feel blessed to have seen him play.

Many of you younger fans who didn't see him play don't realize just how great he was. Think of a 6'10" jackrabbit with springs in his legs.

I was 10 years old in the 60s. Bill Russell was the Boston Sports figure who i most admired on and off the court, still do this day.

Probably what he did off the court exceeded his greatness on the court. There will NEVER be another Bill Russell. RIP GOAT
