I’ll go ahead and get things started with my team…

Today: 4* WR Eugene Wilson III (yeah, his son) just committed to Florida. 10th ranked ATH in the country.

Yesterday: 4* RB Treyaun Webb. #5 ranked RB in the nation. 3* ESPN/Rivals, 4* 247 QB Marcus Stokes committed.

5* QB and the 8th ranked overall player in the country, Dante Moore committed to Oregon.

I think about starting this thread a few times a year. I was going to for Lawrence, Fields etc but thought it would be tough to keep up with it year round.

I always stay familiar with the young kids. It's impossible not to. Most of my go-to guys are hardcore high school fans.
It's always nice to know who's coming in the league though. I mainly pay attention to names and skill-set very much after the fact besides QB bc of position changes and other stuff. So I just want to get familiar with the kid bc nowadays you have more access into the person. You'll get to see a few years worth of tape but the other stuff is more accessible today.

I know Bama just scored a nasty juco recruit who would have already been there or somewhere alike if not for grades. He's pretty good though and easily could be playing on Sundays. Benson could be pretty good if a few things fall his way.

I posted about Nico in my QB thread. He's part of a star-studded 23 group. Nico, Nelson, Chris Vizzina, Jadan Rashada, Manning & a few others might be the next beast class.

Nico is a crazy athlete. Think we could see one or two great ones from this class.

Mario has his work cut out for him though, individually. He's gotta show something soon. I blame him solely for having a 2nd on Herbert lol.

5* DL Peter Woods commits to Clemson. Was hoping Florida would enter the sweepstakes for him, but alas, it was not meant to be. Kid’s hands are absolutely violent.

Mario has his work cut out for him though, individually. He's gotta show something soon. I blame him solely for having a 2nd on Herbert lol.

Yeah, Cristobal can recruit but he’s not won much. He’ll be under instant pressure down there if they can’t make a run in the next couple of years. But, he’s coming into a great situation. Van Dyke has another year under his belt and has the potential to be one of the better QBs in the nation. Then, they’ll go from him to Rashada.

5* CB Desmond Ricks drops his top 10. Pleased to see Florida on there, though I would suspect that he’s heading to Bama. Outstanding press-man corner out of IMG.



Also… WTF is FSU doing? Ricks said they just stopped talking to him.

Eugene Wilson III’s speed. Kid is a flash on film. Could be used very similarly to how Meyer used to use Harvin.

Looks like they’ll expect Wilson to put on anywhere from 10-20lbs, which he should be able to do with his frame without sacrificing speed. Decisive going east to west and very solid fundamentals as a tackle. My guess will be Georgia will use him as the Sam in Smart’s defense, but he’ll have his hand on the ground a ton as a situational rusher, too. What say you, @BaconGrundleCandy?

Jason Moore, the #5 DL in the country, commits to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are enjoying a good recruiting cycle as per usual. At 6’6”, 255lbs coming in, he’s going to be a nightmare for shorter QBs.

Alabama has been quiet to this point. Lots of offers out there, though. I’d expect them to catch up and end up with a top 5 class at the end of the day, though.

Yea one of my guys said he's well spoken, smart kid. I always look at interviews or try to see/hear people speak.

Wilson is a good get for you guys. He's got a great feel for the game already. I feel like I can spot the differences between kids that have been coached up, have experience in camp. He's got a nice presence about him when it comes to playing the WR & the ball. Lightening quick.

23 class as a whole looks pretty good.

They are going after Downs & Uiagalelei hard or at least were. I know they wanted both and sent position coaches to meet I believe.
